    Great video, finally I feel I can accurately distinguish a black from a blue Marlin and a white from a striped Marlin. Thank you!

    one thing you missed is the swordfish has a huge eye. also the black marlins bill also curves.

    Please reply is a Sail fish a type of Marlin? Is sail fish is also a marlin? How many marlins

    Great video! I was looking into it because Ive caught several times a bill fish that neither me or my fellow fisherman can’t identify and it is not in this video! Ive caught 3 of them we think it is a type of hybrid between a sailfish and a stripe marlin. All this in the deep sea of Zihuatanejo.

    @ 23:00 Striped Marlin. OLD photo when men were men (even though there are ladies in the photo) and Stripers were HUGE!

    it's great. can you tell me more the differences between striped , black and white marlin. thanks. sometimes you when you see a fish but it doesn't have head, tail, fin... etc something like that. thanks a lot.

      Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking of chopping these up into individual videos for each species. Perhaps, when my schedule becomes more available, I can dig into the research and find more characteristics to look for on those differences.
