I purchased my GT-Panamericana grille a year ago for my 2014 CLA250 AMG Turbo 4Matic with the sports kit. After seeing your video, I finally decided it was time to install the new grille and I dedicated nearly two days to the project by taking my time. I found it very frustrating getting that diamond grille out without breaking any of the plastic grille clips. You have to be patient or it can test your sanity. I did not install a protective mesh for the radiator because I don't drive as much as I use to and I figured the free flow of air would keep the engine cooler. I ended up with a few extra parts from the diamond grille because the Panamerican Grille does not require the same pre-cut support foam and it installs so much quicker. There's nothing easy about the project but when it's done, you're going to love it. Don't discard your diamond grille as you never know if you'll need it again or if someone may want to purchased it from you.
so good that we have different tastes in this world. otherwise it would be boring. Personally, I thought that the "old" CLA grill is nicer (at least in some color combination with some cars. I have not seen (or searched so much online) the "old" CLA grill in completely black) MB Star in silver and the two lists the middle in silver. But front grille completely black. (meaning that the silver dots were painted black) But great to see what one should and should not do to change the front grille. Thanks for the video. Nice you are happy. What a performance. I changed grille on my e class 2019 only took about 20 mins and about 4 screws. I have CLA 35 now but I dont think I will bother after seeing this.

@@thenotsofamouspresleys5866 I do this by myself all the time, do youself a favour and keep an eye out for carpet offcuts in skips etc. they are a lifesaver
Great job! I’m doing the same on my CLS.it would have been better if you had install the mesh to protect your radiator, but some like it wide and open. I added a mesh prior to install. Keeps the bugs and minimize debris. It would protect the radiator. The grille gaps are very wide in the panamericana as opposed to the tightness in the Diamond grille.
@@djmariovalens I ordered mine through Amazon. You can cut it easily with a sharp scissors or a simple metal cutter. It’s inexpensive like less than 16-17 bucks. Here is the one I used. No issues at all, perfect fit for me, arch screws were abit tough to get off but easy one you know what you’re doing. Not caused any performance issues, rattling or anything by like that. You’d never know it’d been changed.
Nah the bumper was fine it looks worse as the video is sped up I was very carefully lifting it up and placing it down softly. The bumper was fine after the install.
Mercedes of course has to be so fucking difficult just to remove a front grill the W204 Mercedes you literally pop the hood and pop the grill out this is just ridiculous
