Isn't there an episode where he and Meg rob a bank and Peter says "how do you think I finance all my shenanigans?!"
True
Well, maybe he couldn’t figure out how much they stole
Theres also an episode where they buy a farm and there's still a family there and peter says "huh? the network usually takes care of this"
Nothing in Family Guy is canon
@override367already in the video
They did explain this in the show . In the episode where Meg and Peter were bonding Peter takes Meg to a bank to rob it and tells her that is how he pays for all his shenanigans
Nothing in Family Guy is canon
@ Fr
Yes there is, where they bond and try shenanigans together.

if i recall Carter bought the house for Lois but Peter still had to "buy" it back by making monthly payments or something like that. this is how they originally got the house i believe.
when they sold and rebought it i think they actually do own it now but i might be mixing up the timeline (not that they really follow it anyway).
i'm certain most of the money is from Carter or Babs funneled through Lois, they are insanely rich that they could easily afford most of Peters nonsense.
@rocksfire4390 Plus, Carter hates Peter so much he's probably banking on ONE of these offing Peter. Heck, the boat one alone almost worked
Personally, I think it’s funnier if you basically state that their house is being paid for by Lois‘s parents which one episode did hint that also I think it stated that Peter regularly robs banks to pay for his shit considering this guy casually destroys the town in fighting a giant chickenis it really that surprising
Let's not forget the episode where Peter literally begs Carter to pay his bills.
I remember Lois saying they were renting that house 😂
@ yeah and three other episodes said that they purchased the house in someway. One was because of a broken condom condom lawsuit that produced Chris a second Peter made money on an auction selling dirty photos of Abraham Lincoln a third. The price went down because this is a drug town now the point is whether or not they own the house or not probably depends on the episode
@usonly101probably from her parents.
Cause I have 30,000 dollars of credit card debt. When they call me I tell them I can't pay it back yet.
Credit card debt
Credit card debit
Credit card dept
lucky u, i got scammed totalled 100k usd, and still paying, hurm
@pogocf7170how?
It has been said more than a few times that Lois' parents pay for their mortgage.
Lois also has a brother, and sister.
You’re forgetting that stevie Calvin Klein model so they are probably living off those royalties as well.
he also probably sells some of the weapons he makes
And he has a time machine he can go back in time and win lottery tickets
Who tf is Stevie
@SkylerPainter stewie. people who misspell stewie’s name really pisses me off
Also Chris was that famous artist!!
You're telling me a helicopter costs 30.000$?
Boy, do I know what I'm gonna sink my finances into.
Small ones yeah, tho closed cabines one i doubt it
There are some for that best thing about some of them you don’t need a pilots license
Honestly everything about the Griffin’s finances change from episode to episode. In this video Lois said that they’re renting the house but in the episode where Peter gets taller she says that her father pays their mortgage, and in another episode he traumatizes Meg by bringing her along when he robs a bank and clearly implies this how he gets the money to pay for all of his crap.
0:22 did you guys know calc is short for calculator
"How can you afford these things!" Joe Swanson
Bank robberies joe. Bank robberies.
4:51 he bought the house using that burlesque photo of Abraham Lincoln
10:23 That is the question being answered here
at 2:21 he invoked the might of matpat
I got a notification for a game theory as soon I saw this comment lol
@Fequla lol
"I'm not Mattpad, you are."
Mattpat randomly watching this video: 😬😬
fr
I really thought u were him 13:07
Lois isn't the "sole heir" to the Pewterschmidt fortune. She has a sister, Carol. And it was implied in season 3 that Carol is well-off herself when Peter asks "is she the one with the..." Just checked and he says "Jacuzzi and pool table." I guess those things aren't THAT expensive, but Lois also says "all alone in that big house." Although maybe her most recent ex-husband at that time Ted was wealthy. Idk but there's no proof Carter disowned Carol even though he says she has "weird boobs" lol
she also has a brother Patrick the fat guy strangler.
that’s too much detail to end off on ‘boob’
Actually it goes a little further than this:
Carter has actually had 5 kids:
-Lois
-Carol
-Patrick: Though notably Patrick has spent most of his life in an insane asylum, so it's fair to assume he's not going to be getting an even cut of the will. He's also a serial killer, so a bit more fuel on that fire)
-Tatum, a 5 year old who Carter briefly adopts in Season 21 (to be fair, he does end the episode off by having her leave the house, so between that and her probably not being an adult by the time Carter kicks the bucket, it's safe to say she's not in the running)
-A mysterious 5th child...this one will require more explaining. In the same episode that Tatum is adopted, Carter sings about how he and his wife had 3 kids who did not live. Lois and Tatum are both in this episode, clearly alive. This implies that Carol, Patrick, and some 3rd child who isn't Lois or Tatum are dead. I'm not super up to date on how canon this line is, but it implies that in canon either there is a 5th Pewterschmidt child, or that Lois and Tatum are the only surviving heirs. Carol hasn't shown up since Season 20, and I'm not finding any threads clarifying how canon the song is with a couple minutes of searching. The wiki states, without a source, that the 5th child is canonically dead, but doesn't list Carol or Patrick as dead, so I'm at a loss.
Carter in one episode took lois to at least two funerals of people that worked for him he slept with one I think he fired when she got pregnant and gave the hint there was many more.
@rjshadow4321 Fair, it's doubtful an affair child would inherit the company, but then again, the theory of Peter's credit limit being high because of his father in law isn't really dependent on how many heirs there are, since he has enough money to blow a mil on trying to get Peter to not marry Lois.
Dude a small turbine helicopter is almost guaranteed to be over a million
Wrong. Is well known that Peter has 30 thousand dollars in credit card dept and when the bank calls he said that he can’t pay it back yet. Credit card dept
Eh I am more a kin to him getting more Pop tarts with buttah.
you forgot the millions in property damage from his fights with the giant chicken.
1:05 the fact that Stewie started crying in this scene makes me sad even though I know it's a comedy show
u mean meg ?
@gattio No. I mean Stewie
@slimereligionno he silently cries while eating, you can see like a couple of tears run down his cheeks right when Meg and Chris are yelling off screen
1:25 he turned Homer for a sec
Peter was about to give him the "Bart Simpson treatment" 💀
D’oh!
13:54 one of the episodes shows that it is a reality show it’s funny
2:30 we’re all fools🤝
We are…
Yes 🎉
Peter in that thumbnail reminds me of myself the second I get my bonus at work.
10:22 Joe asking the real questions 😂😂
“🎶Cuz I have 30 thousand dollars in credit card debt. When the call I tell them I can’t pay it back yet.🎵”
“credit card debt!” tommorow i may buy myself a dining room set, or this boba fett! credit card debt, credit card debt! credit card debt..
400,000 for a tank is a steal 😂
I really want to see what would Anakin Skywalkers prison sentence be.
Peter once ran his own country (his house was "off the grid). I wonder if he pulled off some corrupt self-dealing scheme, stealing billions.
He also played for the New England Patriots for like one game. How much did that earn
9:55 571k + 30k should be 601k not 600k.
1k is MINISCULE in comparison to the other things
Don’t forget when he calls and begs Carter to pay his bills
In one episode it is shown that Peter's plot of land isn't on any maps so that has to make it worth a pretty penny
I mean, the peter-copter can't be cheap
I feel like it should've been closer to 80k
Kratos prison sentence
The reason Peter can afford all this stuff is probably because of Fox (now Disney), since Family Guy plays with the idea of being a show within a show. In the episode “Farm Guy,” Peter tries to buy a farm but can’t until the farmer gets a call from Fox. Peter even says that Fox pays for everything and he can do whatever he wants.
You see this idea again in “Inside Family Guy,” where the episode shows studio sets and even a whole area with Peter-themed vehicles and people working on them. It’s clear the show acknowledges Peter as more of a “character” on a set than just a guy in a cartoon. When he gets kicked off the show in that same episode, he ends up staying at a luxury celebrity hotel for like a week - which means he’s probably got some serious money or benefits just for being the lead.
Well, I never knew you could do this but go on
Peter has 30,000 dollars in credit card debt 🎵 🎶
He also has 30,000 dollars in credit card debt
The M24 Chaffee shown is fucking massive that shits impractical😭
Peter makes me feel better about my own finacial situation
“HOW CAN YOU AFFORD THESE THINGS?!”
-Joe Swanson
Actually, his debt is 185 billion
This feels like film theory back when it was good. We miss matpat
13:09 dang.... Good bye MatPat tho
but hes not wrong this goes more deeper then peters drinking habits
"HOW CAN YOU AFORD THESE THINGS?"
Yes, an episode dedicated to calculation of net worth of a fictional cartoon character has more than 500k views , let that sink in.
you forgot to add up his fines from his various crimes
Bro sounds like MatPat
11:40 is it just me or does this slightly imply peter brought that shuttle, and fixed it himself to get it in working rder?
4:39 they've also stayed in the earlier seasons that they won a lawsuit that paid for their house.
The link on screen was another Peter episode, so I guess Peter is in a worse situation than himself
my exact thought was unfortunatley, thats a good mat pat impression
Don't forget that Peter has 🎶 30 thousand dollars in credit card debt🎶
So we're just straight up ignoring the credit card debt song? 😅
An M24 Chaffee with 3 inches of armor is crazy, the sherman only had 2
Theoretically you can get in so much debt it stops being your issue and turns into the bank's issue
Finally! a thumbnail that doesnt spoil the ENTIRE vid!
I thought his father in-law was super rich and he funding the family in the dark times
Do sterling archer
Well in the episode with Kevin James (Season 20, Episode 2), Peter calls Carter to extort him for the mortgage money. Plus he went into tht gag about his in law parents pay all his bills and he send a fake ticket with Monopoly money to the mortgage company lol
Carter, his father in law, pays the mortgage. He rents it from him. Do, rent might be cheaper.
He Probably Invented The PeterAng 10:08
30 000 for a helicopter is delusional 🙏
Could you do Peter's hospital bill of you haven't already??
There is a episode where peter sings a song about his credit card dept
8:00 it played an ad called “David Yurman”, Peter ran over the neighborhood’s David Yurman. 😂
the fact that he made every clip look like the person is talking in the show look like there talking is so impressive I'm surprised no on pointed that out yet
4:30 , if they dont own the house, how Peter sold it in season 2 ep 1?
Counter point. In an episode, he tells Meg while robbing a bank, that's how he gets all the money for these things.
first thing that came into my mind was the song „creditcard dept“ fron peter and quagmire
9:51 Hello there!
2 weeks that’s it
Him and the chicken gotta be in some serious debt
One of the latest family Guy episodes has Peter working as the Brewery’s tour guide
12:12 peter
Here’s Peter’s $185,276,244,629 in damages
They have canonically stated that he both owns and doesn't own his house.
Chris was the result of a broken condom and Lois stated that the lawsuit afterward paid for their house.
I just think to myself that Stewie is providing the money for his dad
my collars white but my neck is blue
Peter sold the petercopter to Cleveland on one episode
Bud, I shed a tear hearing that "it's just a theory" line please implement it in future videos because, in my opinion, you do sound like Mat Pat, and hearing your voice with these entertaining videos is nostalgia in a way, brings back good memories, and makes me feel like Mat Pat is still a RUclipsr you don't need to but please 🥲🙂🔥❤️
Marat won’t let u hit 💀
@Serenixxy bro, IDC, I'm stating a fact that doesn't mean I'm attracted to him by any means.
"subtract the debt" yeah, he's cooked
We want archer
His calculator has seen more things than traumatized 13 year olds
He actually said it in a bunch of eps and I quote "live on 40 grand a year"
I never wondered this, and I don’t care to know this. And yet I watched the entire video.
1 minute old video 2nd comment
“I’m not MatPat you are” but that’s just a theory… A GAME-
I heard he has $30000 of credit card debt
And when they call he tells them he can't pay it back yet
Hey, Peter didn’t get the brewery job right away, for a couple seasons he was a fisherman
0:50
To be fair, the only reason Chris got sick from swapping with his father was because he actually did a good job and worked hard. His boss even says "wow I'm surprised how well you're doing"
When you are the writer. You can make anything.
Your content is all of my inside thoughts
OK to be fair it looks like a warm day. The O-rings did not shrink or crack on that space shuttle.
Bro sounds almost exactly like MatPat
There’s episodes that break the fourth wall. And they wind up making it look like a reality show so that’s probably his money right there
Plot twist : Peter uses Carter's money
Not even the Squid Games can help pay off his debt.
The hindenburg airship cost 3.75 million to build in 1932 which supposedly equates to around 80 million today.
