Aloha, Ramon! You had me at "Balsalm Hill!" I have wanted a tree from Balsalm Hill for years, but on this COVID-19 year, I REALLY wanted a beautiful tree to lift my spirits. Viewing your video, however, truly inspired me to save for a beautiful tree from Balsalm Hill. The love and care that BH devotes to their trees and ornaments are absolutely inspirational! It is so evident that this company thought long and hard about what families need and want in a Christmas tree that will be passed down to their children. I'm amazed at the scrupulous attention to detail and quality in the beautiful tree, the ornaments, the picks, and the gorgeous ribbon! It is now my goal to save up for this beautiful tree! I bought a BH last year and it is beautiful. 4/12 feet Blue Spruce. Since the children are all grown up and gone from the house I decided to down size our tree. Once I have it set up I place it on a raised table it looks so much larger. I plan on sending this tree to my daughter for her Birthday in September. Last year I changed my color scheme to Burgandy and Gold....with dash of white. Amazing
Hi Ramon. I love your comparison of BH vs fresh. I am a huge fan of Balsam Hill (except for the price!), as we have had a BH Noble fir for over 10 years, and it’s still going strong. Last year, we purchased not only a second one, with the newer upside down assembly unit, but bought one as a Christmas present for our son and daughter-in-law (at their request). They are beautiful, realistic, and easy to assemble. I purchase “scentsicles”for Christmas tree aroma. The best thing is that ornaments hang so well on the branches! Hi Ramon, Just received our Balsam Hill Mariana Spruce on Dec. 2nd and like you, I am obsessed with this tree! Bought it during their Black Friday sale at 50% off and wow am I glad. So many tips to place ornaments and none of the branches fall out, lol. This tree is stunning with or without ornaments. It really is like a tree in the woods and we love it.
That is one of my new wish this year.. I will get Balsam Hill tree ( and I will get it ). I first found this Christmas tree from Christopher Hiedeman reviews video. I love it. I think it is the most beautiful tree.. and the quality is just perfect! I'm just so excited to see you have one! ❤️👍.. I hope they will send you more of their ornaments and ribbons also.. For many years I favored real trees....but as time moved on I leaned toward the artificial trees. The Balsam Hill trees are number one in my book. Perfection to the max. I was drawn to the embroidered ribbon and elegant Biltmore bulbs. Balsam Hill's attention to detail "exceeds expectations". It is easy to understand why they chose you, Ramon. You, too, are detailed and excellent of spirit.
Great Review! Thank you. I need a new tree for next year. I have 6 now in my home but I want one more for next year. Thanks for reminding me of Balsam Hill! I only buy artificial since I decorate in October and I use prelit but I add more lights in various sizes.
So glad you did this video. For years ny Hubby has been telling me to buy a Balsam Hill tree. I change my look every year, then donate it at the end of season. I'm mostly impressed with their ornament collection. I can fluff any tree to look amazing so it's difficult to justify their price for the tree. You did a great job as always 💞

You did a fabulous job of decorating the tree with the beautiful ornaments, ribbon and picks sent to you. Balsam Hill "real look" trees are made out of PE rather than PVC. Somewhat lower priced trees are a mix of PE and PVC, and the least expensive trees are 100% PVC. I don't own a Balsam Hill tree (too rich for my pocketbook, even when they're having a 50% off sale) that is a mix of PE and PVC and I love it. It's full after fluffing - and yes, fluffing properly takes time but worth all the time you put in, and the PE branches are toward the front and the tips of many of the branches. They are soft and very natural looking compared to the PVC branches.
Ramon, We've had a BH tree for five years. While it was an investment-- I could not have been happier. Balsam Hill trees are well worth the money. Over the years friends of ours have asked what we think about the tree now, and I keep telling them, Buy it! You won't regret it. Last year my BFF came over the day we put it up and watched-- she couldn't believe how fast it went from Bag to standing and fluffing! While she was here, she got on her phone and ordered one. This year I may invest in some of their garlands. Great review! BH picked the right person to talk about their trees. Love the new ornaments.
I always had a real Christmas 🎄 growing up, and felt my children should to, then I got tiered of watering it and being the only one putting up the lights, so I brought an artificial 🎄 tree, this year my youngest couldn't afford a 🌲 for the kids so I gave her mine, and my husband went out and brought me a 4foot 🌲, lol 😅 I never had a tree that small in my life but for now it will do. Wait till after the holidays when he finds out he's buying me a 7 foot pre-light 🌲 love the way you decorate the 🌲 especially the ornaments the are BEAUTIFUL. Even if you water daily, a tree barely lasts 3 weeks if you’re lucky. I get evergreen sprays from the yard or Christmas tree lot scraps to bring in fragrance.

I so enjoyed watching your comparison tree video. You presented the same reasons I opted for an artificial tree as my parents aged into their 80s. As Christmas was their Anniversary! Balsam Hill has always been out of my budget. Fortunately they recognized how spectacular you are as a decorator. I did find a lovely full prelit tree at a reasonable price at Sam's, 2 weeks ago. This will be for my main traditional tree, and for my secondary tree you have convinced me to do the Peppermint Tree! Thank you and God Bless.
I got a balsam hill tree several years ago and love the tree. It really does look like a real tree. Top quality and I have no needle loss at all. They are well worth the money

I hope Balsm knows that you have done the absolute best review yet. I saw a few others, but you mentioned somethings I personally wasn't even thinking about, and my hubby was. Like: 1.) The lighting of the tree, we always argued over the spacing and gaps of lights. 2.) The fact that there's no watering needing. 3.) He doesn't have to struggle to put it in the stand. 4.) Nor does he have to cut it down to size and fit. 5.) Also, as the real trees are dying, with the faux tree there's no falling pine needles on the floor (if you picked a pine tree) -- this is relevant to us, because we're Mexican and keep the tree up until January 6th. And by then, if I've had it since Nov, it's dying. 6.) Also the fact that it's shaped perfectly. 7.) And also.... just having a lifetime tree instead of contributing to cutting down trees yearly.
I bought a Balsam Hill tree 2 years ago. Needed to replace our large tree which had gotten pretty dilapidated looking! After comparing prices, and catching a sale at Balsam Hill, I felt it was actually the best deal for the size tree I wanted. The BH tree came with a really nice storage bag, and if I had purchased a less expensive tree, I would have had to also buy a separate storage bag. Plus, the quality of the BH tree just made it the best deal for me. I'm so pleased with my BH tree!
How fortunate you are to have received all that product from Balsam Hill. Their products are stunning & you did a wonderful job of decorating it. A BIG THUMBS UP to you Ramon. I've had my balsam hill for about 10 years now and it is still as perfect as the day I got it. It takes about 5 minutes to set up. Yes, it was expensive but it should last me a lifetime. I live in Phoenix and a real tree is just too big a fire hazard. I'm very happy with it. Yankee Candles Balsam Cedar is perfect with it.
Ramon, the tree looks “ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. I trust your opinions. I am looking for a new tree and decided to purchase the tree because of your rating. I have watched other RUclipsrs’ review of the Balsam Hills trees and did not believe the reviews (did not feel they were honest.) I know you are an awesome decorator, your tree decorations are amazing. But the decorations from Balsam Hills are par none. I am going broke following your channel. 😊 Well, using your infamous phrases, “So I’m gonna go ahead,” and “What I do on the Left, I’m gonna to do on the right”, and “What I do up top, I gonna do on the bottom”, “JUST LIKE SO!”
My Balsam Hill tree is 8 years old and sorry to say after what I spent I don't think I will repurchase. The lights failed last year in sections and you have to find a "special" light on it to figure out which way to hunt for the defective bulb. It came with no extra lights or screws and after your tree has been unbound just try to get it in that bag!!! The tips are rubbery and very weak can't hold heavy ornaments. The top was too weak to hold any kind of star so l have to get a steel rod and ziptie it. I hope after 8 years they have made improvements. Also you have to order lights and fuses from them and they are sold out around Christmas! Yes they look beautiful but next tree I will shop around!!! Thanks for the review Ramon!

Their trees are so realistic. People always think their real! Almost to perfect. I like that fact no needles all over the floor or fire from to dry real tree.

Good Morning Ramon! I love all the gold ornaments! So elegant and such a timeless look! I do love our fresh tree though. Nothing beats the scent when you first walk in the door! Especially now that I am an empty nester my babies are young adults and have moved out.😢 To come home for the holidays to a warm loving home and the smell of fresh Christmas tree, well you can't beat that.🌲 Feliz Navidad and look forward to more videos. I’m glad you like your Balsam Hill tree, Ramon! I bought one of their flip trees 6 years ago. It’s big and heavy but it looks really nice when it’s all decorated. I would buy from them again but maybe not a flip tree. You can check their website to learn more about the flip trees.🎄
I love Balsam Hill trees and had my tree for 4 years now.🎄🎄🎄 It was well worth the money and I'm glad I purchases the sample kit first so you can see and feel the branches of the various trees before you buy one. My only negative comment and I guess it would be the same for all pre-lit trees was having over 150 lights out (3 different sections of 50) and not being able to easily find the damaged bulbs to replace. But otherwise, thumbs up for Balsam Hill and thumbs up Ramon for the way you decorated it! 👍👍👍
I totally agree with your reasons for liking a artificial tree. I use a diffuser with Essential Oils from Young Living to add the "fresh Tree" smell. They offer many different types of oils with the pine smell as well as recipes to make custom sense. I hope you have a chance to try a diffuser - As you said, they are safer than candles! I have a Balsam Hill flocked tree, it is absolutely gorgeous! Messy because a little of the “snow” falls off, but totally worth it. Ramon, is there any there that may be put on the porch and be safe if some snow should blow on it?
Hi Ramon, the tree is outstanding. Balsam Hill is by far the best! I love the trees and the packaging is a work of art in itself. I had a couple of their trees in the past and hope to go back to them in the future. Your decorating is so rich and beautiful. Looks like a richly-decorated lady. Wonderful.
I love Balsam Hill trees! They are just awesome. They last for years and are of great quality. Purchasing is an investment. I own a Classic Blue Spruce as I just love the color. I have found that BH has great customer service. They offer tons of trees and I needed help selecting. The customer service rep could not have been more helpful and supportive discussing the tree, lighting, width, etc. I am not connected with BH in any way but just love their products. I also love Scenticles to give my tree the smell of a real tree I buy these scent sticks at my local hardware store and you can also order them from Amazon.
I've had the exact same artificial tree for 25 years. It's still unbelievably full and lush. It's true...I'm not being a snot; I'm really lucky with this tree.
I LOVE Balsam Hill! My tree is 9 yrs old now, worth every penny and yes, they are Expensive. Mine was $1200 - but, I bought it in the Summer when they have great sales, so it was a fraction of that.
@@RamonatHOME You bet! And if you're wanting a very natural Pine smell, I use the Thymes room spray in Frasier Fir or the candle, each are wonderful and very nice!

Love it. Quick questions: how tall is your ceiling? do you think a nine-foot tree would fit in an 8-foot ceiling, by bending/ folding down the top bits of .the tree? So that the top of your tree was thicker toward the top? I like my try to touch the ceiling.

After watching your video demonstration the Balsam Hill tree would certainly be my first choice for buying an artificial tree. It’s always easy to go to Costco and buy a couple of fresh wreaths to create that wonderful evergreen smell.

Coincidentally we put this same tree up today but I’m not done jushing the branches yet. It really is a beautiful tree as you said. I’ll start decorating tomorrow. Ours is 7.5 ft tall and is the “frosted” one which is less flocking than normal and just kissed with “snow”. It’s so gorgeous! We got ours on a payment plan which helped a bit with a payment every two weeks. I’m just mad at myself that I didn’t get ribbon from them. I hope my tree comes out as pretty as yours! Balsam Hill has always had quality products - to go along with the quality price. Wish I could afford them, but, alas, I can have Christmas, or I can have Balsam Hill!! Lovely.
Customer service once they very quickly grab your money, is absolutely awful. You definitely won’t get your tree as quickly as they say, trust me, you’ll be Lucky if you get it by next Christmas. And if you want a refund for the excessive delays, forget it, your moneys gone ! You’ll never get it back. Absolutely Awful Company to deal with.

We had a real tree for years. Love them but they are definitely more challenging to decorate. The first artificial tree we chose was from BH. It was a nightmare and wildly overpriced. The lights never worked properly; even right out of the box. The tree was close to $1,000. We wound up sending it back for a full refund and we went with a real tree that year. We have an artificial tree now that has been wonderful for the past 4 years. I believe my husband picked it up at Lowe's and it was around $300. I'd love to see a comparison of a BH tree with another quality artificial tree at a quarter of the cost ;)
I plan on buying a Frasier fir from balsam hill. I plan on buying an unlit one. Prefer unlit for one reason. They will out last a prelit tree and you won’t have a chunk of a tree go dead as it gets older.
Love the artificial tree, esp. the red ribbon, just stunning. I like to put up my tree at least a month before Xmas and with a real tree, it is so dry and bristles falling off by the time xmas comes around that it is just not worth the trouble. Artificial for me now.

So glad you did this video. For years ny Hubby has been telling me to buy a Balsam Hill tree. I change my look every year, then donate it at the end of season. I'm mostly impressed with their ornament collection. I can fluff any tree to look amazing so it's difficult to justify their price for the tree. You did a great job as always 💞

You did a fabulous job of decorating the tree with the beautiful ornaments, ribbon and picks sent to you. Balsam Hill "real look" trees are made out of PE rather than PVC. Somewhat lower priced trees are a mix of PE and PVC, and the least expensive trees are 100% PVC. I don't own a Balsam Hill tree (too rich for my pocketbook, even when they're having a 50% off sale) that is a mix of PE and PVC and I love it. It's full after fluffing - and yes, fluffing properly takes time but worth all the time you put in, and the PE branches are toward the front and the tips of many of the branches. They are soft and very natural looking compared to the PVC branches.
The tree looks elegant and sparkling. Nice leaves and the red ribbon 🎀🎀. Plus the beautiful decor. God bless you Ramon.
Ramon, We've had a BH tree for five years. While it was an investment-- I could not have been happier. Balsam Hill trees are well worth the money. Over the years friends of ours have asked what we think about the tree now, and I keep telling them, Buy it! You won't regret it. Last year my BFF came over the day we put it up and watched-- she couldn't believe how fast it went from Bag to standing and fluffing! While she was here, she got on her phone and ordered one. This year I may invest in some of their garlands. Great review! BH picked the right person to talk about their trees. Love the new ornaments.
I always had a real Christmas 🎄 growing up, and felt my children should to, then I got tiered of watering it and being the only one putting up the lights, so I brought an artificial 🎄 tree, this year my youngest couldn't afford a 🌲 for the kids so I gave her mine, and my husband went out and brought me a 4foot 🌲, lol 😅 I never had a tree that small in my life but for now it will do. Wait till after the holidays when he finds out he's buying me a 7 foot pre-light 🌲 love the way you decorate the 🌲 especially the ornaments the are BEAUTIFUL. Even if you water daily, a tree barely lasts 3 weeks if you’re lucky. I get evergreen sprays from the yard or Christmas tree lot scraps to bring in fragrance.

I so enjoyed watching your comparison tree video. You presented the same reasons I opted for an artificial tree as my parents aged into their 80s. As Christmas was their Anniversary! Balsam Hill has always been out of my budget. Fortunately they recognized how spectacular you are as a decorator. I did find a lovely full prelit tree at a reasonable price at Sam's, 2 weeks ago. This will be for my main traditional tree, and for my secondary tree you have convinced me to do the Peppermint Tree! Thank you and God Bless.
I got a balsam hill tree several years ago and love the tree. It really does look like a real tree. Top quality and I have no needle loss at all. They are well worth the money

I hope Balsm knows that you have done the absolute best review yet. I saw a few others, but you mentioned somethings I personally wasn't even thinking about, and my hubby was. Like:
1.) The lighting of the tree, we always argued over the spacing and gaps of lights.
2.) The fact that there's no watering needing.
3.) He doesn't have to struggle to put it in the stand.
4.) Nor does he have to cut it down to size and fit.
5.) Also, as the real trees are dying, with the faux tree there's no falling pine needles on the floor (if you picked a pine tree) -- this is relevant to us, because we're Mexican and keep the tree up until January 6th. And by then, if I've had it since Nov, it's dying.
6.) Also the fact that it's shaped perfectly.
7.) And also.... just having a lifetime tree instead of contributing to cutting down trees yearly.
I bought a Balsam Hill tree 2 years ago. Needed to replace our large tree which had gotten pretty dilapidated looking! After comparing prices, and catching a sale at Balsam Hill, I felt it was actually the best deal for the size tree I wanted. The BH tree came with a really nice storage bag, and if I had purchased a less expensive tree, I would have had to also buy a separate storage bag. Plus, the quality of the BH tree just made it the best deal for me. I'm so pleased with my BH tree!
How fortunate you are to have received all that product from Balsam Hill. Their products are stunning & you did a wonderful job of decorating it. A BIG THUMBS UP to you Ramon. I've had my balsam hill for about 10 years now and it is still as perfect as the day I got it. It takes about 5 minutes to set up. Yes, it was expensive but it should last me a lifetime. I live in Phoenix and a real tree is just too big a fire hazard. I'm very happy with it. Yankee Candles Balsam Cedar is perfect with it.

I have watched other RUclipsrs’ review of the Balsam Hills trees and did not believe the reviews (did not feel they were honest.) I know you are an awesome decorator, your tree decorations are amazing. But the decorations from Balsam Hills are par none. I am going broke following your channel. 😊 Well, using your infamous phrases, “So I’m gonna go ahead,” and “What I do on the Left, I’m gonna to do on the right”, and “What I do up top, I gonna do on the bottom”, “JUST LIKE SO!”
My Balsam Hill tree is 8 years old and sorry to say after what I spent I don't think I will repurchase. The lights failed last year in sections and you have to find a "special" light on it to figure out which way to hunt for the defective bulb. It came with no extra lights or screws and after your tree has been unbound just try to get it in that bag!!! The tips are rubbery and very weak can't hold heavy ornaments. The top was too weak to hold any kind of star so l have to get a steel rod and ziptie it. I hope after 8 years they have made improvements. Also you have to order lights and fuses from them and they are sold out around Christmas! Yes they look beautiful but next tree I will shop around!!! Thanks for the review Ramon!

I’m glad you like your Balsam Hill tree, Ramon! I bought one of their flip trees 6 years ago. It’s big and heavy but it looks really nice when it’s all decorated. I would buy from them again but maybe not a flip tree. You can check their website to learn more about the flip trees.🎄

I love Balsam Hill trees and had my tree for 4 years now.🎄🎄🎄 It was well worth the money and I'm glad I purchases the sample kit first so you can see and feel the branches of the various trees before you buy one. My only negative comment and I guess it would be the same for all pre-lit trees was having over 150 lights out (3 different sections of 50) and not being able to easily find the damaged bulbs to replace. But otherwise, thumbs up for Balsam Hill and thumbs up Ramon for the way you decorated it! 👍👍👍
Paying this much for a tree and having 150 lights go out within 5 years is nuts. Disaster in my book.
I totally agree with your reasons for liking a artificial tree. I use a diffuser with Essential Oils from Young Living to add the "fresh Tree" smell. They offer many different types of oils with the pine smell as well as recipes to make custom sense. I hope you have a chance to try a diffuser - As you said, they are safer than candles! I have a Balsam Hill flocked tree, it is absolutely gorgeous! Messy because a little of the “snow” falls off, but totally worth it. Ramon, is there any there that may be put on the porch and be safe if some snow should blow on it?

I love Balsam Hill trees! They are just awesome. They last for years and are of great quality. Purchasing is an investment. I own a Classic Blue Spruce as I just love the color. I have found that BH has great customer service. They offer tons of trees and I needed help selecting. The customer service rep could not have been more helpful and supportive discussing the tree, lighting, width, etc. I am not connected with BH in any way but just love their products. I also love Scenticles to give my tree the smell of a real tree I buy these scent sticks at my local hardware store and you can also order them from Amazon.
I’ve had my Balsom Hill tree for 3 years now... they are well worth the price.

I've had the exact same artificial tree for 25 years. It's still unbelievably full and lush. It's true...I'm not being a snot; I'm really lucky with this tree.
I LOVE Balsam Hill! My tree is 9 yrs old now, worth every penny and yes, they are Expensive. Mine was $1200 - but, I bought it in the Summer when they have great sales, so it was a fraction of that.

Love it. Quick questions: how tall is your ceiling? do you think a nine-foot tree would fit in an 8-foot ceiling, by bending/ folding down the top bits of .the tree? So that the top of your tree was thicker toward the top? I like my try to touch the ceiling.

Coincidentally we put this same tree up today but I’m not done jushing the branches yet. It really is a beautiful tree as you said. I’ll start decorating tomorrow. Ours is 7.5 ft tall and is the “frosted” one which is less flocking than normal and just kissed with “snow”. It’s so gorgeous! We got ours on a payment plan which helped a bit with a payment every two weeks. I’m just mad at myself that I didn’t get ribbon from them. I hope my tree comes out as pretty as yours! Customer service once they very quickly grab your money, is absolutely awful. You definitely won’t get your tree as quickly as they say, trust me, you’ll be Lucky if you get it by next Christmas. And if you want a refund for the excessive delays, forget it, your moneys gone ! You’ll never get it back. Absolutely Awful Company to deal with.

We had a real tree for years. Love them but they are definitely more challenging to decorate. The first artificial tree we chose was from BH. It was a nightmare and wildly overpriced. The lights never worked properly; even right out of the box. The tree was close to $1,000. We wound up sending it back for a full refund and we went with a real tree that year. We have an artificial tree now that has been wonderful for the past 4 years. I believe my husband picked it up at Lowe's and it was around $300. I'd love to see a comparison of a BH tree with another quality artificial tree at a quarter of the cost ;)

I plan on buying a Frasier fir from balsam hill. I plan on buying an unlit one. Prefer unlit for one reason. They will out last a prelit tree and you won’t have a chunk of a tree go dead as it gets older.

Love the artificial tree, esp. the red ribbon, just stunning. I like to put up my tree at least a month before Xmas and with a real tree, it is so dry and bristles falling off by the time xmas comes around that it is just not worth the trouble. Artificial for me now.
