When i was walking home at 7 and 8th february all i saw were depressed people on the road. It really sucks ngl Edit: the amount of support is insane thanks alot Edit2: i got no idea when this will end ngl. after that big earthquake we had some more earthquakes around that area. and now there was one in my city closer than 40 kilometers. thankfully its magnitude was only 4.3 (still probably did a fair amount of damage to ppl that were really close) but i still got no idea how tf are we getting this unlucky with this. my city is one of the rare cities in turkey where earthquakes never happen (I've never seen an earthquake happen in my city for my entire life. it was only earthquakes from other cities that affected us and that was usually not too bad/didnt affect us much.) if i remember correctly Mersin (aka the city that the earthquake happened at) is the city with the lowest (or almost lowest) chance of earthquakes in Turkey so idk it just really sucks. at this point i just hope earthquakes don't affect other countries too ngl bc we seem like we are gonna suffer from this for a few more years.
The sad thing is money usually can’t replace the lifetime of anguish that can be caused from these sorts of things. I got a settlement from my mother passing away in the form of many, many dollars but the truth is I would cash it all in for just another moment seeing her face.
