I've been there in 2005 and they allowed me to climb on the top of the building... Believe me, it's such a heaven, and a very different feeling from Angkor and other great temples of Cambodia ancient Khmer Empire... I'm so proud to have this most most incredible history on earth.
Thanks for your question. The stars were real. We stayed up till 3:30 am to capture their motions. You can view them with your naked eyes, once in a countryside with no light pollution. If not, come and join us on a next trip to Koh Ker ;)
