    I was there last night. Great evening,with three top bands. Priests finale songs were a real treat with Glen joining in ,The bull and the Bike. Saxon were absolutely amazing and we're my favourite of the night .

    Glad I got to see them at their peak on the British Steel tour in 80’. I appreciate all the great music they created and still create. I’ll just enjoy the live videos on RUclips and buy their new cds

    Nice to see Glenn made it on to the tour. We got a cameo from Paul Quinn at Leeds. Great night with all 3 bands showing us that real music is still very much alive!

    Had a great night, it was powerful and crushing, JP at their very best, Faulkner and Halford were particularly on top form. Special mention in despatches for Saxon who were totally on point too. Go see these guys it’s well worth your hard earned cash…

    I was sat second row centre front. Never been so close to the front at a concert. I’m 22 so couldn’t find anyone my age to go with so I travelled solo and it was worth it! It did feel strange that there were seats but everyone stood up during Priest. Managed to get a guitar pick from all three bands too :)

    What has happened to metal crowds- just want to record the live. Where's the spontanaeity, the atmosphere, the energy. We are doomed

    Why is there as freaking Bull on the stage??.. why??..is this iron maiden's Eddie??

    • @JonMallek

      Judas Priest uses a giant inflatable bull at the end of their shows as a reference to the city of Birmingham, where the band is from, which is known for its bullring. The bulls that used to be sold there are also associated with the city.

      The real statue of this bull is in Birmingham city centre. This one is a pretty good copy, around the same size too!

      ok then thanks for that info on that bullpukey on stage..I thought it was as gay thing from Rob..I won't elaborate..

    • @clown247
      @clown247 6 месяцев назад

      Amazingly the Bullring in Birmingham is older than many of the bull rings in Spain, and it may have more in common with them than you first thought.
      Because, according to Brummie historian Carl Chinn, in the 16th century a man called John Cooper was given the right to bait bulls at the site opposite St Martin’s Church - and it became known as the Bull Ring.
      Up until then the area in front of the church was the Corn Cheaping - aka Corn market in more modern day speak. And John wasn’t the only bull baiter in Britain.

      @@baldheaddriver5Yes I get the "Bullring Brummies" but it is Spinal Tap looking and not enough people probably know it's meaning. They really thought this was a good idea??
