For those wondering what Sams 'new hidden secret spicy combo is', its a normal Cyber Style OCG combo people there use a lot (and people on YGOpro have played around with since Summon Sorc came out)
Basically, you make Sieger with any two more Machines on field (one has to be Lv5), go into Summon Sorc, use its effect to summon another Lv5 from deck, make Nova and bring back Sieger below the right extra monster zone, Revsystem or reborn another monster (hence you play 3-4 revive cards), make Gryphon next to Sieger (center field), upgrade Nova into Infinity next to Gryphon.

Congrats on getting Top 4!!! This is almost my exact build for Cyber Dragons, only I opted out of using the Sky Striker engine and instead mained TT, a second Overload, Eltanin, and Jizukiru. I highly recommend adding that third copy of Revsystem, or at least testing it out. A lot of players say it's redundant, but at worst it unbricks Cyber Dragon if you go first, at best it lets you make insane boards, especially if you draw multiple copies. Can't wait to hear how you do in Columbus! Way to represent my favorite deck, and a lot of other people's favorite deck, too!

Guarantee at least 3 of the 9 “spice” side deck cards are either Inspector Boader which is searchable w/ Cyber Repair Plant, Rivalry/Gozen since the entire deck is Light/Machine

It is great to see a Cyber Dragon player doing so well in a tournament because I want to do well and have fun in a competitive tournament with that format.
Also it is great to see a competitive player that is not a toxic player.
Nothing to hate on for not showing some cards. If you got a very good strategy that is being underused and that will guarantee you more wins, then keep it secret as long as it needs to be. But you gotta top in YCS, just for the reason you're playing cyber dragons alone. That would be super nice!

I've been playing cyber dragons for a couple years and even started by using one of your old deck profiles, so it makes my day that cyber dragons can do so well against the meta. I've been slowly trying to get the new cards from packs so I can make a deck like this one or your last deck profile, but I have the absolute worst luck apparently when it comes to pulls from cybernetic horizon and battles of legend. Regardless, it's super awesome that you were able to do so well with cyber dragons, and I hope that continues into the YCS

For those of you wondering about the 9, I can assure you that 5 of them are 2x Called By the Grave and 3x Rivalry of Warlords. As for the rest, I'm going to guess he used the Solemn Brigade: 1 Solemn Judgment and 3x Solemn Strike.

Personally, I've found that Widow Anchor has been useful to me more times than Jamming Waves might have been, especially because I can use that to bait out a Tri-Gate when staring down the Gouki Extra Link.

I wanna say out of those 9 side cards, 3 would be iron dragon tiamaton, everyone sleeping on that card lol. Could be good going 1st in cybers, most cases you have sieger, infinity and overload set. Basically is extra link with iron dragon tiamaton. I think we’ll see that card more and more in the future.

While face-down, it is still Cyber Dragon. You can use it for Chimeratech megafleet or fortress. The name change effect falls under the unclassified-type effect, and as such, can be and IS active while face-down. In both cases, you reveal it as the proper material for the tag out, referencing the rulings for gladiator beasts. It's a confusing ruling, but there's the official ruling for y'all. Enjoy!
"Let me point out several flaws in your reasoning.
For starters, you're treating the concept of an "unclassified effect" as, well, something classified and defined. Something with a common set of rules that can be universally applied. That is a mistake. "Cyber Dragon" itself has an unclassified effect. The Elemental Lords (skipping the Battle Phase) have unclassified effects. Are they in any way similar to something like "Cyber Dragon Core" changing its name? You cannot lump them all together and expect them all to follow the same rules.
Furthermore, this term is completely fan-made. Rulings will only tell you that "Cyber Dragon" has 'neither an Ignition, Flip, Continuous, Quick, or Trigger Effect'. There is really no such category as an "unclassified effect".
And again, you're using a fan-based website to support your claims. Let me point out "Harpie Queen"'s page, which has the exact same effect, listed as Continuous. The fact is that all of these name-changing effects are Continuous, and they also apply in the Graveyard. They do not apply while the monster is face-down."

Two, unclassified effects may not be official as a name, but the reason it applies for both because it's not condition, ignition, flip, quick or trigger. Unclassified is just a blanket term for the effects that don't qualify as the official titles.
Also, funny thing about Harpie Queen is that if you DO look under its ocg rulings, it specifically states that it's not continuous.

For anyone who wants to know his combo it's a 3 card combo you need core drones and machine dupe.
Drones make token summon kagari get back drones then summon hayate active your drones and summon shizuku then you summon core and you have to search revsystem unless you already have that then you machine dupe summon two cyber dragons to your farthest zones (one at the right end and one at the left end) then you link the hayate and the core to make sieger then you link sieger and shizuku yo make summon sorceress now you target cyber dragon and ss from your deck either cyber dragon or galaxy soldier (I would do galaxy soldier if I were you) now you activate revsystem and ss sieger underneath your summon sorceress then you link your galaxy soldier and summon sorceress into gryphon and then you use your cyber dragons to make infinity. Might be other ways to do it but that's what I figured out.
Third card can be machine dupe or galaxy soldier doesn't matter.

hey dude, im a huge fan of cyber dragons ever since seeing zane play in the show when i was little tbh xd but i think itd be pretty damn cool if you showed this deck in action some time if thats at all possible. I dont really know how yugioh on youtube goes since ive been out of the scene for a while but a showcase would be really awesome i think! Either way have a good one, im liking the deck profiles and updates.

Eater of Millions is annoying in Trickstars against Cybers. I swear, everytime I have an Infinity and a board on Standby they have both Dark Hole/Raigeki and a Eater of Millions, which they summon after I negate the board clear.
How to turn any cassual deck meta competative : add any 10 Handtraps and spend at least 300 to 350 bucks more

I admit sam, I'm impressed so far, I know the deck idea is not originally yours in that form (technically) but too see you top with it is amazing. I admit I play the deck pure, so I half agree/disagree with the sky striker engine you play, Its just my opinion, I'm not insulting the engine, besides, that is a nice play using overflow turn 1 to search. I might try it out or a different version. From a long time cyber dragon player himself, Congrats. I recommend if it's not in your side, here's a trickstar counter for you. Number 14, greedy samasuarus (I might have spelled it wrong. rank 5, while on the field, any effect damage you take goes to your opponent's instead

Face down, you can use Core for Megafleet since it's still a "Cyber Dragon" monster but not for something like Twin or Rampage, because it's not "Cyber Dragon" while face down.
on fusions the fusion actually doesnt check the name till the monster hits grave. thats why you can fuse with facedowns at all

how did you make the knightmare package if it says monsters with different names? cyber dragon effect monsters make them all the same name. just wondering what monsters you used so I can use them.
The main combo is to have 4 machines on filed with a revive in hand. Link into Sieger with a level five machine on field still. Use Sieger and other machine for Sorceress. Use Sorc effect to summon level five from deck. overlay into nova on the right (if sorc is on right). Nova effect summon siegar under sorc. Use revive spell in hand to bring a monster back. use that monster and sorc to summon griffon (since different names) to the left of sieger. now over lay infinity to the left of griffon.

Why don't you explain the combo? I tried this deck and am losing all the time versus Six Samurai and Skill Drain Decks. You can also Brick horribly with anti cards.

Unless your'e running a Sky Striker build, Cyber Dragons aren't the least bit affected by the banlist.
