Das Biest Performance Project - Cityline - June 27, 2024

Founded in 2018 by Sophie Marie, Das Biest Performance Project is a dance-based art group. All of our staff and dancers are Queer Identified and/or disabled artists. We seek to create space for marginalized artists a place to create the Strange and Weird. Our work focuses on themes of folklore, queerness and horror. We have made several, self-produced dance films that have been seen through the Annual Barefoot Collective Film Festival. We have also performed at the Seattle Center’s Artist at the Center and self-produced many site-specific dance works. We are located in Tacoma, WA.
