I've had the Bauer version for a couple years now. Excellent except for the reverse switch is a joke. Surprised it hasn't snapped off yet. It's mixed hundreds of bags of Structolite, S morter, cement, plaster, joint compound. 49$ on sale. Can't beat that.
That big drill, we, My Father in law, and i used that drill to burn through lugnut holes in Alcoa Rims that go onto Mc9's (Land yachts) It worked, and we put it on a rear tag wheel hub, and ran down the road with it. That -a- be a powerful drill to use, and if she gets away from you. She will twist ya around the whole body.
Love the 1321 and dw131. Hard to beat but I did break the gears in a couple of them. Drilled thousands of holes in steel. Up to one and a quarter dia in up to 1 inch plate. Some of the jobs could have used the three quarter drill.
The DW131 and the similar Black & Decker 1321 (also 6048 in the Automotive series) were true beasts! The DW130 was similar to Black & Decker's 1317. The 1317, in turn, replaced the previous 1315-10 (also 6044 in the Automotive series and 7274 in the Trade DIY series); the 7274 also had variable speed control (0 to 650 RPM).
Thanks for your thorough reviews! I have the Black and Decker version of this tool. The Professional 1317. What type of grease do you recommend? I'm going to replace the cord and gasket and thought of renewing the grease while I have it apart.
It'll probably run a cable That length. If you were gonna run something that was 50' then I would do a whole hog or even a 3/4 drill like a Milwaukee 1854

Looks an awful lot like my old sears Craftsman 1/2" impact

Why do people use electrical tape as if it is duct tape? Gah!
