I just got back a week ago, and I still can’t believe how many people I saw with pants and long sleeve shirts. I also can’t wait to go back next year. Five days wasn’t enough.
I usually wear long sleeves, I know it seems counterintuitive, but it protects you from the sun and you’re not as hot when the sun is not directly and constantly hitting your skin. Of course cotton is key here and nothing form fitting, you want some air circulation for sure 😂. My husband doesn’t like wearing shorts of any kind, so he’ll be the one guy in the entire park wearing pants, even jeans 🥵😂 Edited some typos.
@@Laura-lh6sm oh wow! I guess whatever works for you. I used to be the guy in pants and long sleeve all the time when I was struggling with OCD, but now I wear whatever is the most comfortable for me.
I was a character attendant at Studios *mumblesnumbers* years ago. You used to be able to see a lot of rare characters in the old animation building before Fantasmic. So many magical moments in those days 🥹
I haven’t visited Disney in almost 10 years and my dad and I might be visiting next weekend on a whim, if we don’t plan on buying any extras to Hollywood Studios will we still be able to ride rides? To my knowledge all rides allow standby queues and we’d have no problem going single rider. I guess my question is what all is included with a day pass (regarding the new Genie+ system) and is buying the extras (like Lightning Lanes) necessary?
Hollywood studios should be rebranded to be more of a thrill park. It could be their islands of adventure and would solve the identity crisis it's been facing.
I did genie + and at 5pm I had already done every single ride in my day. I wanted to repeat some but I didn't know it was a one time thing. It is possible to everything people
Just went to HS today with the family, I almost fell out twice from the heat. Tower of terror was always worth the wait regardless. Slinky dog was down all day too 😢
The exit of the Tower of Terror is a quiet courtyard. (ok ok punctuated by the regular drop screams). There is a loggia in the deep shade just at the gift shop exit. Its a good place to wait for your more adventurous half of the family going on the ride with the other half who doesn't who gets ice cream from the cart or ice cream shop while you wait.
on a Thursday, 2nd week of Jan 2025, would I be able to do Hollywood studios and animal kingdom in the same day, if I start and end at HS, but do late afternoon and sunset at AK, cuz Pandora at night is a priority, but I also want to see toon town, star wars, and the night show if it's still happening, or should I just do 1 park?
4:10 would like to see DFB tackle the Monster Inc Land controversy and give their thoughts on where the new land should go… my thoughts (as a fan of the Muppets and a recent visit to HS) are that it should go where Launch Bay is and potentially move launch bay closer to Galaxy’s Edge (or even utilize the old StarCruiser space for Launch Bay). What does DFB think?
I saw another well-known Disney RUclipsr, and he brought up something I didn't know: The Animation Courtyard is a facade for office space and a recording studio. So they will probably take out Muppets.
Do you recommend Jollywood nights or Mickey’s Very Merry? We went to Mickey’s Not So scary this last time, and I’m in the early stages of planning a trip for November 2025 for ten days. I was looking to go to Mickey’s Very Merry next year, but Jollywood also looks interesting.
DisneyBounderSpotting! I was able to catch a Minnie wearing a backpack of herself, T-shirts Hulk and Donald, another Minnie with a stroller, and it might be my imagination, but I think I saw a Roger and Jessica Rabbit. Did I miss anyone?
Looks like i may be there on jollywood nights. Do i have to pay extra if im already at the park? How does that work? I have never been more excited, lol.
Jollywood nights is a special event. You have to buy the tickets separately and the park will likely close early that day for general day tickets. If you purchase only the special event ticket they usually let you in a couple hours before the event actually starts and the regular hours end but you wont be let in for the full day. Make sure to get them now before they sell out. Special event tickets go fast
@alexreveles6264 on the disney world website go to the parks and tickets tab then go to special events and you will find jollywood nights. If you are still having trouble finding it you can google jollywood nights 2024 and it will take you straight to it
Did they take out the Honey I Shrunk the Kids area? I went in 2012, and there was an interactive section that had a dog’s nose that blew air. I didn’t see it this last time.
It was there on my first visit in 2011...But i mostly just walked by it. If I knew it was going to disappear, I would have explored it and taken lots of pictures. Cant take anything for granted!
what do you want them to do, give a warning every time they put up a video of ride of the resistance? if you don’t want spoilers, and this is gonna come as a shock, don’t watch disney world videos 😦
@@amelislays I'm not saying they have to put up a warning, that would be pretty lame. What I'm saying is they can show exterior shots or just the queue. I want to watch the videos to help support them. And by watching their videos I've actually been able to build an itinerary full of stuff I never would've discovered or known about to make my once in a lifetime Disney World trip more enjoyable. It's almost necessary, I just wish it wouldn't spoil some of the magic at the same time.
Here’s your Reader’s Digest Condensed Version answer-book the busiest rides first (I.e Rise, Slinky Dog, Smuggler’s), get in line for Fantasmic! early because the amphitheater seating is very limited Personal Note-I’d avoid the single rider line at Rise of the Resistance because you miss the entire preshow

I’m going in TWO DAYS!!! 🤗 from Wed to Sun all the way from Chicago! This is my 4th time going in the past six years and I can’t get enough.
A fellow midwesterner!! I’m heading out on Friday from Iowa 😂 have fun on your trip!!
I don’t need fancy food at Hollywood Studios. Give me some backlot express chicken tendies and I’m good to go
I like the way you think!!
Thanks AJ !!! Me and my Son will be there in a few days!!! He has never been on the Rise of the Resistance ride!!!
We LOVE Ronto Wraps and also the food at Docking Bay 7!!
My mom and I both really liked Hollywood and Vine.
Thank you so much for making this video! First time I’m going there next month!
Have so much fun!!
So excited! I’ll be there in 10days!!!
Agreed! Let’s here AJ Sing 🎤 😀

Curious why the sound is different on this video?
I heard the difference, too. Not as crisp as usual
This is RUclips, originally people just recording themselves before big companies got involved & began editing videos like movies & tv
I just got donr with work. The Grant County fair was AWESOME. Had a great time except for the weather.

Is there still food at sunset market ranch?
The first week of May this year there were no shakes at Scoops in HS. They directed us to the Rock& Roll area but we couldn't find them
