Well done Shane! The axe is laid to the root! HallaluYAH for His Just wrath upon those that trusted in man and loving kindness to those who keep His covenant!
I love what you've done, this is Awesome, I love music and song, and when I hear things like this it make me want to sit in prayer and ask God to clean my heart and my mind, so I don't speak a deceitful tongue, thank you for this in Jesus name Amen!!
I love what you did here.....this is Amazing! Someone needs to shout these words from the rooftops loud enough so that all believers can hear..... Let's get the word out!
Wow, it is easy sometimes to forget how much He abhors arrogance and the price to be paid by the one who does not humble himself before the Lord. Abba, to my mind is tender and merciful and king, long suffering and gentle but He is not squishy. He is not mocked. I have been reading a book by D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones About the sermon on the mount and the character of the holy man/woman. I pray these traits are found in all of us as we humble ourselves, cry out and mourn for our sin and tge sin of mankind, that we are meek and we hunger and thirst after righteousness. Which will lead us to show mercy and become pure in heart and then our heart's desire will be to tell everyone there is a way to peace through Jesus our Lord. God help us all to be as King David who seemed so much like the blessed man if the sermon on the mount. God help us long for the secret place.
As loud as when David penned it, it needs shouted from the rooftops in this day and time. It is idol destruction time and all the high places of Baal torn down!
@@rosalvabooksllc354 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light lest his deeds be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been done by God.”” John 3:17-21 LSB Tolerance is what led to fall of the kingdom of the twelve tribes of Israel. From the moment Joshua died in judges 2 mixture and tolerance started destroying Israel, their enemies would always get the one up and it would take realizing they had sinned and would turn back to YHVH. But because they would always turn away from YHVH and go a whoring after idols again and again HE WOULD allow calamity to come so they would humble themselves, pray, seek HIS face and turn from their wicked ways, then and only then would HE HEAR from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land. We are no less a land that was blessed by YHVH because these nations of States were founded on HIS WORD, on the gospel of LORD JESUS and we prospered to become the United States and only by grace have we’ve become great at all but spitting in the face of HIS GRACE is the most foolish thing you can do because HE HOLDS you in HIS HAND and gives you the greatest gift outside of free will and that’s HIS SON paying the price for your sin that the wages are death and either you’ll have to pay them or you can let it be paid by LORD JESUS who freely paid it and asks you only to accept payment. I mentioned free will was a gift and everyday I choose to serve HIM, I want no idol to come between HE and i including myself. There’s no such thing as tolerance, that is only a foothold to get in the door to change and turn the hearts of men away YHVH. Just as LORD JESUS SAYS in John 3:19-20 “And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light lest his deeds be exposed.” John 3:19-20 LSB So the only reason you’d want tolerance is because you won’t come into the light because you love the darkness. Come into the LIGHT of LORD JESUS and lay your sin down at HIS FEET, acknowledge HIM as LORD and SAVIOR because GOD RAISED HIM from the dead and the penalty of sin is buried forever more if you accept HIS SACRIFICE AND FORGIVENESS.
Music is great when the words and the raw emotions match and hits those areas in one life that make it feel real. When the singer owns how the lyrics describe the tones and attitudes that the writer is feeling. The beining versus offer the readers a chance to imagine the intense pain of a man asking very valid questions his oppressors should take as if they were being threatened by their enemy. The man in questions posting the questions then describing the ways the man who boasts evil is displays his repulsive egregiously offensive behavior to God and how God will respond to such behavior that God hates and then David goes on to tell of the outcomes of what happens when people produce that kind of fruit, then David redirects peoples attention back to God as an example of what to do, but also to declare his very intential decision to support the faith he has for God, but talking to God in the very end versus. David might feel some vindication at this point but chooses to be humble and give glory to God instead of being the very way his enemies would have been to him. A very emotional Psalms that has some mood changes even if some might not see many at all. When it comes to practicing empathy, it seems like it would not take much to say, even though I'm not King David, I can still own and relate to his feelings, character and posture in every verse, because of the kind of people and they way they behaved and acted towards him, are sometimes the kind of people most people will inevitably have to experience as well, and I am glad you chose to compose the music for the instruments you used for this psalm in a rock style, but upon further reflection I think the music set for this psalm does not mix as well because it's just coming across slightly upbeat and kinda laid back and I'm just not sure how much David was actually holding back when trying to express what he was going through at the time. Passionate for sure, and not given into foul language as some might be if they were in his shoes, but I'm not getting slightly upbeat and kinda laid back until maybe verse 8 and 9 with an intense amount of respect and relief and humility. But I am very happy you sang thr whole psalm because it has been a while since I found a play list where people sang all of a psalm and not just only a small part of it on repeat.
Another fine rendering to turn us to our Bible and read, study and praise. You sent us an email asking us to take a listen, amidst questions or criticism. Your unique interpretation does not change the inherent meaning. When I study the Bible and compare translations, there are so many differences. Keep going, Shane, and you’ll keep inspiring me to read the psalms. 👏🏼🙏

I don’t know how I feel about this song it’s God’s Holy word for sure but and i going to sing it merrily no no I’m not. Jesus taught forgiveness and loving our enemies and the lost how does this song do that?
I like it. I would have gone with more "angry" than "happy" at the start. Also, either it needs two vocalists, one with a wider range, or stay in his range. He fails to reach the lower notes and it isn't a pleasant sound. Otherwise, I think your translation is excellent. And I am so encouraged that you didn't hesitate to take on this very important Psalm. It is never quoted on desk calendars or inspirational devotionals. I love that you did it and put such heart and love into it. Yes, that is the Word of God, the same Lord who chased the sellers out of the Temple with whips and cursed the oh, so holy pharisees with so many shocking curses. He hates self-righteous even. I am sure Doeg thought he was doing the Lord's work when he acted the way he did. He was just completely wrong!
I love it. It's the word, it's truth, it's a two edge sword that's cuts down to the heart and morrow. The lord said his word would offend.
Thank you for being obedient to the Father. ❤ 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Jesus is Baaaaal. His sheep all testify so.
@@straightproudincense This could go wrongly interpreted by those who don't know that the word baal also means husband or master in Hebrew.
Everyone is supposed to tolerate all evil. The only 'sin' is this evil time is standing against evil.
