Dr. Anderson is a Neurologist. She sued her colleague, Dr. Sydney Piercey, for 17 million dollars. The malpractice suit was settled for an undisclosed amount of money.

I just cannot imagine everything she went through, the mental anguish, it must have have been so debilitating, mentally, physically, and more.
That's insane. No amount of money will help her at this point.
I just can't understand why he would do that to her, he certainly didn't need the money and he 100% had access to proper fillers. Hope she took home every cent he's ever made, if this is howhe treats his colleagues when doing a "favor" could you imagine how he treats patients under his care who aren't trained in medicine.
I feel like doc should have sued whoever left that medical gauze in her cheek as well
That first story makes me so sad. She was 17! She didn't need anything done, and because she felt she did, she had to go through that horrible trauma.
That doctor definitely preyed on her insecurities. Although she was 17 with two kids, still too young to be making crazy cosmetic decisions on her own. Her body definitely would have bounced back naturally

That poor, sweet, doctor. I hope she fully recovers and perhaps returns to practicing medicine. Her traumatic experience will surely increase her wisdom and empathy with her patients.

Done by a friend lol whom can you trust nowadays…. Honestly it’s shocking because it makes you think that if they don’t even have enough Simla they not to notch their fellows…the biggest issue is that Gina was lucky to afford this kind of repair surgery but what happens when you saved say a couple of thousands to get some filler and wake up to this and not enough money to fix!?! I really hope there was a bit of jail time for this doctor, for knowingly mutilate someone like this and who knows how many others 😕

Because a proper count of "sponges" (gauze, cotton balls, etc) was not done before closing.
This is why I don't get injections. I can't believe a doctor's friend did this to her. It's not worth it to look younger.

The poor eye lady, OMG. Insures that I'll never get any of these procedures done ever. Age gracefully.
I know they get a lot of attention and fame which may make their egos inflated, but at the end of the day, these men have so much compassion and love for their patients to totally change their lives and bring back peace and joy. In this respect they are like 2 angels on Earth.
I think that that nasty gauze had a major part of that recurring condition under her right eye.
My gawd. I feel SO bad for her. She trusted someone she knew & probably had no reason NOT to trust. She's gone through hell.
what happened to the second lady is a crime
I am so glad the drs were able to help the second person. I live in constant chronic pain. It’s hard to live any kind of life due to the pain. It literally takes over your entire life. I’m so happy for her!
Gina's file was not lost, it was destroyed. She had an enemy and didn't know it.
My dear friend died from sepsis at 54, it was absolutely excruciating to watch, and I seriously hope she didn't feel as it looked, because I love her even now. I can't believe it is almost 3 years, I still pick up my phone to call her. I feel like people underestimate sepsis SO MUCH! It will kill u so rapidly! Her son didn't even make the 5 hour drive before she died. I bet his girl never opened her eyes in his attempt to though! She was so amazing, a woman who mothered not only many, but the strays and any!
The doctor really got to me, very sad. Hopefully she is finally over it.
Some amazing transformations. The scariest one was the doctor, because you trust that your injector is using safe and approved methods when they bring a needle to you. So you understand the risks of approved methods, not dangerous and illegal methods. What the injector did was criminal

Both of these stories are devastating to hear 😭 that first one is so young and innocent! She seems like a great mom that just wanted to feel better about herself. The second one, i can’t believe a colleague would do that. A professional. I hope she sued for everything they were worth. Almost puked when they pulled the old gauze out !

My friend had BII and it's silicone poisoning!! she had same symptoms. right down to the joint swelling.

The doctor with the injected silicone seems to have been deliberately sabotaged by the original person who did the first procedure and maybe also the "friend" of hers who recommended them.

purely cosmetic procedures on people that don't have any real abnormalities will always baffle me such as fillers, tummy tucks, breast augmentation they take so much risk with pretty much almost a guaranteed worse result post-surgery. I rarely see any cosmetic surgery that isn't an obvious and makes them look worse than they originally did
I used to have large brown areolas but had to have them sized smaller when I got breast reduction. The pigment didn’t fully come back and the scars around my new shaped areolas where stitches were are now visible, my milk duds or whatever those white bumps are called that are beneath the areola are now where my nipple is so it now looks like zits that actually pop out white stuff plus I lost a lot of sensation. I then had implants put in to give my boobs a lift and fuller. One nipple is sideways. That was 12 years ago. Next month I’m getting new implants and my sideways nipple moved to correct place along with tattoo to fill in lost pigment of areolas. I hate that I lost a lot of sensation.
I'm in my twenties. After having my daughter I get this reoccurring thought that I want my boobs done but it's starting to look more and more like a bad idea.

Gina's result was far from perfect and I'm sure she needs lots of makeup to hide the scarring discolouration but I'm glad she's getting better and the scarring should fade over time

These two, patient doctor, and Dr Nasir should do a TED talk about this case. First of all because even a medical professional can be scammed and have their lives ruined. And secondly there can be help if you find the right doctor. Also what to watch out for when seeking beauty enhancement, the good and the alarming. And just how life altering “a little filler” became in every aspect of her life.
