Great video mate 👍 I love a trip down south of the border. Always find it exciting. Last time we went down to the Cotswolds from the West Coast of Scotland. Long but epic drive. The difference in landscapes and topography across the UK is amazing for such a small country.
Those services are depressing, Scotland has some great truck stops for food, on the A9 but they're mostly independents. Disgusting the services that are provided for truckers, companies forced to pay exorbitant fees to park and not even decent grub. Skiach services (North of Inverness just off the A9) is free to park (was last time I was there) Has a decent cafe (good food, usually freshly cooked to order and reasonably priced) and a bar with a pool table, with entertainment at the weekend (usually c/w singers).

Hi Darren, just found your channel pretty good so far, except for the quite derogatory remarks about the state of our road system in Scotland. You have to remember that we are not as industrialised as England. We quite like it like it like that. I dont agree with the Scottish government putting a lower speed limit compared with down south.. Good luck with your channel.
I know those cyclists are entitled to be on that road, but fuck me, surely they could’ve cycled on that path alongside or at least had the decency to slow right down so you could pass. Ridiculous lol.

@@Life_of_Darren yeah that is pretty
Welcome back to scotland 🤣 that A92 closed was an accident, another hgv driver died too 👎
As for the services in scotland you'll be doing well to find a decent one north of Route 74 Truckstop.
I seen the accident on the way back, looked pretty bad, all you could see was the back end of the hgvs trailer sticking out of the woods,
Terrible services, that shower curtain is on the sex offender register
Kirkcaldy pronounced kirkody
Hi Darren, just found your channel pretty good so far, except for the quite derogatory remarks about the state of our road system in Scotland. You have to remember that we are not as industrialised as England. We quite like it like it like that. I dont agree with the Scottish government putting a lower speed limit compared with down south.. Good luck with your channel.
Thanks Tom, don’t get me wrong I love Scotland’s roads. It’s sometime limited with access to the destination if there is a road closure etc
I know those cyclists are entitled to be on that road, but fuck me, surely they could’ve cycled on that path alongside or at least had the decency to slow right down so you could pass. Ridiculous lol.
In Scotland it's illegal to cycle on footways (pavements).
@@miken891 I know. But police wouldn’t really care about that. Surely it’s a lot safer too.
Good video Darren sorry little man has chickenpox remember when you children had it take care
He’s going through the wars with it right now bless him 😢
Was that Sturgeon and Useless on those bikes ?? still trying to screw the English 🤣
BTW....what is that slow flashing red light on the right of the dashboard ?...noticed this on other vloggers videos as well...I've driven reasonably modern trucks before retiring, but it's a new one on me 🤔
Yeah think it was her mate 🤣🤣 I think the flashing light may be a reflection from the GoPro in the window, when it’s live recording it flashes a red light
@@Life_of_Darren Of course, mate, never thought of that 🙄
I think you will find it’s the English that are screwing the Scots.Idiotic remark.
Please stop saying "in the morning" after specifically saying "A.M"
🤣🤣 it’s a bad habit I have, I keep catching myself saying it 🙈
Lorry in front keeps swerving to the near side not paying attention
