Thanks for the review! This piano was on my radar due to the form factor. I saw the video with the weight difference between the black and white keys and got pretty scared so I looked at a bunch of reviews and opinions online including this one. I decided to look for a Guitar Center that had one on their store floor to try it out and decided it wasn’t really a issue for me. I even managed to get a really good discount and now I’m a very happy owner of my own PX-S3000.
Excellent review. I have this keyboard and would agree with your opinions. I have seen reports of the black keys being lighter than the white ones but I believe the reviewer didn't take into account the fact that in such a small unit there will always be some compromises to be made. Casio understood that the action was going to be heavier toward the back of the keys and took a balance approach when designing the action weight. All other elements of your review are spot on apart from your assumption that the Cordana app may not work on Android. I can confirm that it does. I don't use Apple products so I have always used an Android tablet with to run Cordana with the instrument. Many Thanks for taking the time to post this review.
On the 3100 updated version the have improved on the speaker sounds.Also this sounds perfect for busking its light and you can also buy a carry case thay goes over your shoulder .
This model is discontinued, I believe it was replaced by the 3100. I just bought it at sam ash music store floor model for $400. I couldn't be happier.
I'm confused to buy this becoz ,i saw some review they say theres issue with the weight diff between black and white keys pls help should i buy this dp or not , if buying will it not cause any problem while playing
HI. I have seen other video’s that it was mentioned but here’s the thing. The difference is so minimal that most people if not all will not notice it. I don’t and several other pianist I know consider comments like that to be a exaggeration. It really comes down to a personal choice and feel.
Suggest going to a store and playing lots of scales in various keys. You'll soon figure out if the weight difference between the black and white keys is a problem for you.
The grand piano sound is my favorite sound. I feel they focused on the Grand Piano sound. If I had to be very picky, its a bright piano sound thus lending itself to more contemporary piano sounds.

In other words, I am interested in its sound being heard as acoustically sound without connecting to a recording device, that the grand piano has a good sound, it should have it since the polyphony is 192
@@emmanuelornelasdiaz-zl6nu Hi. I personally believe it is a fantastic piano sound acoustically. There is a short sample at 2:50 in the video that is NOT directly into a recording device. The speakers are plenty loud and sound very good. Of course this is my personal opinion and if you get a chance, it’s best to play one in a local store. If you do, I would compare this keyboard with the Roland RD88 or the F90. This way your are sure of what you are getting. Sorry for the long response. Good luck!
I am really intrested in buying privia px-s3000, but my only fear is that the touch would go off by time, and there are no other options to change voices, can change only if i hav a ipad😥
I am not sure what you mean by “touch would go off”, but I can say that I have had other Casio keyboards and never had a manufacturer issues. They seem to be built VERY WELL!! Unlike a company called Williams. Those are ridiculous!

I have this instrument and it's gorgeous.
Great video. Do you lose the settings once you detach the IPad or does it keep them.

How good is the sound of the grand piano, most reviews record cleaning the sound, I want to know how good the grand piano would be

Yes it does. That are not the best but they certainly do the job for home practice.

you can change the patch sound without any other device. and also there are no major built quality issues.

The keys look yellow to me.
HI. sorry but this is because of bad lighting. The keys are perfectly white. I have since fixed the lighting for future reviews.
What about the rithms?
The rhythms are very good. There are very standard and typical of what you will find in a keyboard of this style.
