A lot of Dimash fans (pegged "Dears" by Dimash because they are dear to him)--especially the female ones--notice his eyes. They are indeed expressive, just as are his hands and the rest of his body. Igor Krutoy (composer) plays piano as DIMASH performs, Some RUSSIAN singers that have performed the song stated on TV they won't perform it anymore, as DIMASH's version was so good. I first heard ALLA sing this song in one of her concerts many years ago and(I am Not a Singer) I went around for many months with this song in my head and trying to sing it also, it has been a favorite song for me, but DIMASH takes it to a whole different level. I was a professor in Kazakhstan for 9 years and am now married to a Kazakh woman. We plan to move back soon, as I launch my own online company. I enjoyed your reaction, but you have just scratched the surface of understanding Dimash's capabilities. You will gain a lot of subscribers if you react to more of Dimash's songs, and you will witness many more styles and techniques than he displayed in this song, as great as it is. As you apparently read in his bio, Dimash is the son of professional singers and, thus, was learning to sing while in his mother's womb. Indeed, a reviewer from India made a very insightful comment that he sounds like music is his first language, and I think that could very well be true. He then began singing lessons at age 5, as you noted, and has now begun his Ph.D in music. His range is 6 octaves, and he sings in many different voices, colors, and styles. Every song is different. Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. By the way the prize was of 1,000,000.00 dollars.

I believe that this was your first reaction to Dimash. Yeah, what he does, calls on years of practice, focus, devotion, etc. You also probably know by now that he will turning 30 in May this year, 2024. An incredible career for this young man. This is, I think, only the fourth of your reaction videos that I have listened to, and can say that you have so much music within you. With Dimash each song is a box of surprises ... He sings about everything, I don't know if he is the best male singer at the moment, but he is certainly one of the best. Hello from Portugal.
Could you PLEASE provide links to (or at least names of) people and songs that you think can do better than what Dimash has already done (and possibly out-do him)? He's THE BEST I HAVE EVER HEARD. He checks ALL the boxes where not many other performers can honestly say they check more than a few. Let's start with his humanity. He's humble. He gives credit where credit is due, including parent, friends, fellow performers and band members. He constantly tells the backing band or orchestras 'Thank You'. He gives to charity. He doesn't sing for the wealth or fame. He sings for the art, the emotion and for good causes. Maybe even for the fun of it. He collaborates with ALL KINDS of people (including at least one with his sister). He likes getting others involved and including them in his adventures. Careers are revitalized when people are near him. He has a strong sense of justice, fair play and honor. He outright QUIT a competitive show when he found out that he was competing against children, citing that [1] with his years of experience being more than the kids had been alive in total, it was not fair to them and [2] the show organizers had LIED to him, telling him that there would be no children in the competition, before he agreed to join. An all-around great human being (or alien, depending on who you talk to...). THEN we can get into his vocals; SIX OCTAVES and change out of a total of eight octaves (some say 7+, but I am not arguing for all of that, I really don't know. But there are vocal coaches and musicians who say that). Not too many singers can handle more than three octaves. Fewer still can handle more than four. This guy is competent and solid and consistent in his six+ octaves. He covers vocals from BARITONE up to Dolphin Whistles! Dimash covers every genre. He sings Opera and other Classical, Rap, Pop, Jazz, R&B, and even got into hard Rock and Heavy Metal including screaming (not sure if he can do gutteral growls but he can scream). So just WHO else do you know, who has that vocal capability? Where are they? Why has nobody else mentioned them in any similar comment to yours? Why have those singers never stepped forward for themselves and said 'I can do that'? Why do comments like yours even exist if you don't provide examples of people who are capable of at least matching Dimash? I'll wait.

Some people (not saying the OP) don't officially recognize some of his talents, and just give him a three-octave range. I mean, they are wrong, but I suppose they are entitled to their (wrong) opinion. I myself have heard both the F#1 and the D8, so that's the range I'm going with.

You aren't the first to fail in trying to copy Dimash. It helps the rest of us to realize just how extraordinary his singing is. I was a professor in Kazakhstan for 9 years and am now married to a Kazakh woman. We plan to move back soon, as I launch my own online company. I enjoyed your reaction, but you have just scratched the surface of understanding Dimash's capabilities. You will gain a lot of subscribers if you react to more of Dimash's songs, and you will witness many more styles and techniques than he displayed in this song, as great as it is. As you apparently read in his bio, Dimash is the son of professional singers and, thus, was learning to sing while in his mother's womb. Indeed, a reviewer from India made a very insightful comment that he sounds like music is his first language, and I think that could very well be true. He then began singing lessons at age 5, as you noted, and has now begun his Ph.D in music. His range is 6 octaves, and he sings in many different voices, colors, and styles. Every song is different. He plays several instruments and has sung in 12 different languages. A lot of people recommend starting with songs he performed in a Chinese competition among professionals, which is when he first went viral in 2017. As the only non-Chinese singer, he was not allowed to win, but his first album went triple platinum there literally in just a few minutes. Still he is much more successful in Asia than in America, but he hopes to move to the USA soon to improve his English and truly achieve the worldwide acclaim that he deserves. Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. By the way the prize was of 1,000,000.00 dollars.

I believe that this was your first reaction to Dimash. Yeah, what he does, calls on years of practice, focus, devotion, etc. You also probably know by now that he will turning 30 in May this year, 2024. An incredible career for this young man. This is, I think, only the fourth of your reaction videos that I have listened to, and can say that you have so much music within you. With Dimash each song is a box of surprises ... He sings about everything, I don't know if he is the best male singer at the moment, but he is certainly one of the best. Hello from Portugal.
Could you PLEASE provide links to (or at least names of) people and songs that you think can do better than what Dimash has already done (and possibly out-do him)?
He's THE BEST I HAVE EVER HEARD. He checks ALL the boxes where not many other performers can honestly say they check more than a few.
Let's start with his humanity. He's humble. He gives credit where credit is due, including parent, friends, fellow performers and band members. He constantly tells the backing band or orchestras 'Thank You'.
He gives to charity. He doesn't sing for the wealth or fame. He sings for the art, the emotion and for good causes. Maybe even for the fun of it.
He collaborates with ALL KINDS of people (including at least one with his sister). He likes getting others involved and including them in his adventures. Careers are revitalized when people are near him.
He has a strong sense of justice, fair play and honor. He outright QUIT a competitive show when he found out that he was competing against children, citing that [1] with his years of experience being more than the kids had been alive in total, it was not fair to them and [2] the show organizers had LIED to him, telling him that there would be no children in the competition, before he agreed to join. An all-around great human being (or alien, depending on who you talk to...).
THEN we can get into his vocals; SIX OCTAVES and change out of a total of eight octaves (some say 7+, but I am not arguing for all of that, I really don't know. But there are vocal coaches and musicians who say that). Not too many singers can handle more than three octaves. Fewer still can handle more than four. This guy is competent and solid and consistent in his six+ octaves. He covers vocals from BARITONE up to Dolphin Whistles!
Dimash covers every genre. He sings Opera and other Classical, Rap, Pop, Jazz, R&B, and even got into hard Rock and Heavy Metal including screaming (not sure if he can do gutteral growls but he can scream).
So just WHO else do you know, who has that vocal capability? Where are they? Why has nobody else mentioned them in any similar comment to yours? Why have those singers never stepped forward for themselves and said 'I can do that'? Why do comments like yours even exist if you don't provide examples of people who are capable of at least matching Dimash?
