- We woke up at 3:30am for this video. Worth it? Absolutely. Today we headed to Dallas, Texas where we visited a BBQ spot that's only opened three days a week. They sell out of EVERYTHING, then do it again the following week. Lines form all the way around their building just to get even a small taste of what they've got going on...but we got to try it all.

My girlfriend is from Mathis, and I have to say as a native to Arizona, I have never tasted such juicy BBQ before in my life than eating Texas BBQ.

I always find it fascinating and awesome how these great chefs can admit that they don’t know everything. They are humble enough to go and see how pro’s do it
For 3 years, I lived 40 mins away from there, and I ate there quite a few times. The food is genuinely that good! Best BBQ I've ever had (so far), and I've lived all around the world.

I just took up the art of smoking meats and I can tell you it really does take a lot of passion. Waking up at 2am to start something. Babysitting it for 12 - 20 hours. Using different types of wood for different flavors. Different techniques, etc. But the finished product is always amazing.

Yeah, I'm a Texas girl myself. I did the wait once, and so worth it! We are lucky in this great state, though, because we have all the tools nearby and the experts to listen to in order to make better, ourselves, than anywhere else in this country!
