Ya know… I’ve watched soooo many vids showing this cast on. They never “clicked”. THANK YOU !! For some reason, I get it. Makes sense. Maybe it was the “top needle to bottom (then bottom needle to top)” along with “yarn always goes over the needle”. Seems I used to have the yarn go Under. I thank you & will be Forever Grateful!!! Saved this as well ! I totally get this cast on. Finally! Weeee, gotta play w this new thing!!! Thank you!

Very cool, it reminds me of the Kitchener except it's a cast on instead of a bind off. I think I used it once tying 2 colors together, so I could knit bottom up with a different color on each side (for a hat). It was a reversible double knit, back when I really liked a good challenge haha I was a brand new knitter too and made my own pattern.
