Would a compromise of allowing TVA to lease the land they want to use at a monthly or yearly fee to the land owner work? The shed and dog kennels either get moved or new ones are built by TVA for the homeowner's use. The landowner keeps his land and TVA and the community get secured power.
They do not need 75 feet on both sides, they just want access to be easy and on their terms. The existing line is clearly on only one side of the utility poles and appears well maintained as is.

Seems perfectly reasonable. People like having electric power and cell phone service, they just want someone else to give up their land for it. This is a big deal, that's why it's enshrined in our constitution.

The bank or finance co isnt going to worry as long as those $3000 a month payments roll in... in essence the house was taken by a separate entity and the deed was transferred to them.. banks security is gone. A good atty could win this one. The mayor needs a few thousand peacefully protesting his ill will to residents.
