I love reborns but spending hundreds of dollars on a doll is ridiculous, authentic or manufactured it's still just what they are dolls. My great aunt paint dolls so nothing against authentic dolls, I can think of plenty things to drop hundreds of dollars on, but a doll ain't one! Just my opinion.
Hello. I totally respect the way you feel. Dolls for me are amazing. And yes, I can see myself pay what I pay to enjoy my hobby. Like most, I have a budget, whether it's lower or higher than most, there's still a cap that I will not go over. But that's the fun part about it...being free to express myself no matter what. I love my aunt but I've expressed to her, How does someone pay almost 2000 or more for a doll. I've seen really cute manufactured reborns. Some people in the reborn community are concerned with others if they buy and vlog a replica they worry about the backlash. I noticed you cleared in the beginning of your video, you don't buy replicas. You can purchase what you want. It's your money and your hobby. So can the replica buyers. It's just a doll. Enjoy.
Hi. Oh no offense taken. I do prefer authentic but have no ill will toward anyone who decides what type of doll they would like to have in their collection. I know there is a big debate about this topic and I say, whatever makes the person happy. I will not judge a person's personality based upon what doll they have. And will continue to cherish all forms of friendships that I've made no matter where the doll comes from ❤️.
