I love how you edit your vlogs! So professional. Also I got accepted into Kawaii Kon 2024 but had to cancel cuz of work conflict and this vlog is giving me crazy FOMO 😭
I love how you were so transparent with expenses in this vlog! I've always wondered how much it costs to travel to cons. So happy to see more content from you besides instagram~ Keep it up!!
I love how our bun gal has ventured out so far into the world :D Nijntje, as she's originally called, was first created here in the Netherlands by illustrator and children's book author Dick Bruna. When he passed in 2017, the city of Utrecht where he lived, had posters of 'Nijntje huilt' ('Miffy is crying') all over town.
The 787 Max8 had me dying right away lol! Interesting how numbers play especially for repeat vendors. Would love to get to kawaii con next time. Love your vlogs!
ahahaha I'm glad someone caught that! and yeah, I'm in my second year of doing artist alleys, and so far, not a single repeated event has been the same for me 🤔
@@Sundrop.Studios i flew back home from a con and rode a 787 max8 and i was lowkey concerned for my life! LMAO. And idk if you've heard from your other artist friends but seems like the ones that vended there for the first time did very well, maybe because attendees are shopping more to new tables? that's just a hunch though.
@@Kikopaints_ ohhh yeah I would totally believe that, I have a couple of friends this year that did Kawaii for the first time this year and it started off really slow, but by the end of the weekend ended up being one of their top 3 cons!
your con vlogs are always so satisfying to watch ! i'm sorry you weren't able to completely match your profits to last year, but your work and quality of your products seemed absolutely stunning
I was also accepted into Wondercon but from the aftermath, I'm glad I decided to go back to Kawaii 😅 It's not the most lucrative, but it's a personal favorite!
I did pro row both this year and last year- and I think it was worth it last year- I really enjoyed having the bigger space/table. but this year not all pro row spots were worth the pro row price... some of those spots were definitely not premium placement. I would probably go for it again next year. this year's pro row was also much larger than last year's.
Thanks for coming to Kawaiikon!! It was the first time I saw your art, and I absolutely loved it. Your booth was also super cute!! Please return if you’re able to!
Hi! I was wondering where you got the clamp display? I have been trying to find one and I can only ever find one with tripod feet. I would love to have one that makes transportation easier!
I got it from Amazon! My display is 2 sets of the "Just LS15 Desk Overhead Camera Mount". I would look into how many pieces you're going to need to build up and out and see how many kits you might need! This rig is more expensive, but they're really good quality so they don't bow in the middle when you hang stuff up, and I like the form factor!
Love you art so much!!! Super useful seeing expenditures as just I'm starting my business up! I have to ask, what are the songs you used, they're so good and I need more of them in my playlists!!!
hehe they're all royalty free music! Passionate Choices by Mansig, Time by Magiksolo, Kirari Kirameku by ra'z, Chess by macaroom, Tombi by macaroom, Sunbeam by MILANO
@@thejuiceboxclub That should be the same brand, I believe! and having a second phone is nice as a back up camera, but I prefer recording at the best quality as possible, and footage just looks better off of the iPhone 15 imo
Love the content you share, can you share the link for your black table clamp bar thing. that looks amazing. I have something similer but yours looks so much more stable. Thanks
It's from Amazon :) search up "jusmo LS15 Desk Overhead Camera Mount Rig Top-Down Shots" (They're on the pricier side, but the quality is good! I also have 2 of these kits so should always have enough pieces to build as tall and wide as I'd like)
Hey, I stumbled across your videos by chance and find them mega relaxing and really great! I can take many tips from you and your things are just beautiful!
