They're going to adapt Onslaught, Feral Wolverine and I think they're going to adapt The Twelve next season, check out the comic "Apocalypse: The Twelve" maybe that's where they'll get inspiration from.

Rogues grieving, thats a given. But her grief has blinded her to the fact her sentiment of 'not wanting to see more mutants die' is bullshit, since Magneto was set to cause the death of millions of people, including all the mutants who wouldn't side with him on Asteroid M.
Not just those, Magneto was also set to cause the death of all heroes who live in New York such as The Avengers, Spider-Man, Defenders, Doctor Strange and Fantastic Four, Blade, The Punisher and Ghost Rider.
I thinks it's more of I am done helping save the world that hates me than, I will destroy earth. It's not like she is stopping them. All she did was try pin down Wolverine so he won't kill Magneto, which arguably helps them since if he is dead no one (exept maybe polaris) can fix earth. Or can be seen as self defence. I am not saying this is morally ok but I don't think she wants to cause to more suffering just doesnt want to help anymore.

Man I really don’t under this really. The genosha was traumatic for her. People were cheering as rogue was destroying army base and dropping trask. But now they are upset that she sided with his idology?
Nobody in their right mind thinks Magneto is right.
Rogue was introduced in the comics as a member of the Brotherhood, X-men Evolution started her out with them, and Wolverine and the X-men had her doing virtually the exact same thing at first as she does in this show, leaving the X-men for the Brotherhood (but of course switching back over later.)
Why is anyone acting like this is some shocking or character breaking way of writing her?

I am a huge fan of Rogue so I’m always happy whenever any show adapts her brotherhood history. We all know she’ll be coming back to the team and it will be interesting for her to regain their trust and respect again. She’s essentially taking Colossus place from the comic storyline. There’s been so many X-men that have switched from bad to good over the years

Like in Astonishing when we find out he was aware the Danger Room was sentient and did nothing about it and told no one so the X-men would have a training room, and it eventually exacted revenge on them.
Or any of the times he's wiped people's memories for convenience.
Or that weird thing of him having romantic feelings for a teenage Jean which for some reason was kept in canon in Onslaught.

Her heart really beats for Gambit as shown throughout episode 7 and 9, just she choose Magneto as part of ways to avenging Remy and those who suffer and lost in Genosha by agreeing the terms/ideology of Magneto since she’s been there while all of the massacres happened. Hopefully she can realized in the last episode from what Magneto have done to Wolverine which leads her to reunites with X-men to stop Bastion. Maybe at the end, she'll leave the team as part of shame towards her actions and having time alone to heal after what she's been through especially after Remy's death. Hopefully getting a glimpse of Gambit's resurrection in the last episode, really love to see both Gambit and Rogue on screen again together.

Magneto was right", and yet people are angry that Rogue, a survivor, originally a villain, and someone who lost the love of her life in Genosha, chooses to side with Magneto?
A goof portion of the male fandom hates Rogue because she's a powrful character like Captain Marvel, this is just an excuse to bash her.

So? Rogue cried too, before Jubilee. Sunspot and Jubilee fought each other and let the issue go pretty quickly.

since she is loosely borrowing Piotr's Fatal Attraction story let's look at the order of events for Piotr
1) Illyana dies of the legacy virus
2) At Yana's funeral, Magneto shows up, not subtly, and a fight breaks out
3) Piotr knocks out Bishop before Bishop vaporizes Magneto.
4) Piotr joins the Acolytes and Magneto departs with the convert
5) Magneto gets pissy and EMP bombs the Earth (and I will point out, the thing done was a defensive measure designed by Forge, Nick Fury, and SHIELD; not exactly a group of anti-mutant bigots)
6) Colossus disables the security so the x-men can infilitrate Avalon
7) Takes no part in the fight
8) Breaks up the fight after everything goes down and does a 'everyone should attune for their parts of this mess, take Logan and go' before attending Magneto's condition.
9) never actually does anything villainous during his time as an acolyte except hurt some feelings verbally among the X-men

Great episode! But keep your guard up people. Rogue referred to Morph as “them” instead of he as he has been referred to in the original episodes. Tolerance really is extinction and if you keep tolerating this woke junk then little inserts like this will spiral out of control and this great series will go extinct.

@@loner1878 Well the term “woke” has apparently changed a lot in the years that have passed and it’s not what it used to be anymore. In any case X-men was never “woke” in the 90s because referring to any sort of entertainment as “woke” was not even a thing in the 90s. Having a gay character for example was not considered “woke” back then. No one used that term like that. Including a diverse character where it doesn’t obstruct the story or completely replace the source material and degrade the quality does not represent the current “woke agenda” at all nowadays. It’s when they literally butcher the story to make them abruptly what they want you to consider “diverse”. The current “woke agenda” is just inserted into entertainment by investors purposely with the goal of sabotaging the quality of it in the name of being diverse. If they really wanted to promote diverse and equality, then they would do it with quality so that it can be welcomed much more as opposed to making it so damn hateful. All they are doing is destroying entertainment and provoking chaos while hurting the minority by putting the reason behind “wokeness” towards minority ideology. That is the sad reality that most people in this day and age are blind to see
@@loner1878 as for X-men 97 specifically it is still on a good path but again given the track record of marvel/disney even a little pronoun can lead to a lot more till it eventually turns into another failed marvel project. Im not saying it is heading that way but I don’t want it heading in that direction and neither does anyone else who is currently enjoying this series.
