I am really enjoying the show fellas! I am going all in this year on the ND A.I.M. tournament series. I am new to the tournament world and share the passion of walleye fishing and that make yourself uncomfortable on purpose attitude. I am so jacked about this coming season and watching this show is like watching myself getting rolling. Keep up the good work!

Had watched today's episode on FOXSN, love watching last years coverage of the NWT. I fished back in the mid 90's a few of the MWC Tournaments. Also was friends and co-workers with Chris Gilman and Tom Keenan. What always amazed me about those two as far as their success in tournament walleye fishing is their ability to get and gather information about the body of water where their next tournament was going to be. Even if they had fished that particular body of water before, they would have the most current local information. Almost seemed they didn't even need to pre-fish and had their spots dialed in, though like most work in teams pre-fishing.
Information getting and gathering for both of them was like mainstream media coverage(breaking news). If some unknown Angler was catching tournament walleyes that either of them would weigh-in, prior to one of their tournaments, that information about that Angler would get to them. Lol, they probably even had that unknown Angler take them to his hot spots during prefishing. For years it seemed like Keenan(and his brother Mark) actually owned the rice beds on Butte des More. If he didn't eventually "hackle" other tournament Anglers that were trying to fish the same rice bed(s) away, I think he would of called the Authorities to come out and have you fined for trespassing, not to mention have the tournament directors boot you from the tournament for fishing his rice beds!!!
To best explain either of Gilmans or Keenans success in tournament walleye fishing is to look at Keenans win last year I believe on the Great Lakes(Saginaw Bay, maybe Erie). Tom had his own area(from coverage I watched on YT) where no one else was fishing or had found catching them ripping Rattle Trap type baits, which probably very few other tournament anglers even thought of or were using those type baits. Gilman probably using them though, lol. Tom and I were ice fishing years ago on a body of water near where he grew up, I had been to this body of water prior that year a few times and had done well(on panfish). Tom comes out and just starts hammering among hundreds of other anglers and myself who were doing alright, but not like Tom. I finally couldn't take being "schooled" as he would phrase anymore and looked to see what he was doing so well on compared to what I thought I had done so well on days prior. Here he had on a size 12 pink Rat Finke(which was new out that year) tipped with a little piece of purple 1" Twister Tail. Now how did he know to use that bait when as far I as could tell no one else catching fish was using that bait, even prior to him fishing that body of water for the first time that year??? Skill, intelligence, luck??? Like always with him and seen in his salesman abilities, he probably had that unknown angler and Rat Finke tipped with a purple Twister Tail right in his pocket before we even hit the water that day!!!
Thought I would just share those comments with you guys at Fish Addictions TV. Two great guys and tournament fisherman in Gilman and Keenan. I miss those days and the time I was privileged to share with them as friends and co-workers.
