Finally, someone who gives a fair review. My ridge grapplers don't have but 10k left on them and run across the rugged trek. Thanks for the info. Will be my next tire.
Put these on my truck yesterday and they are exactly what you described, great tire. Drives amazing for such a aggressive tread design. They look filthy on trucks!! Great review!
I’ve had cooper discovery at3s on two different trucks, they have handled great, never had a puncture, been solid towing 5k lbs. in a 4wd truck they were perfect on snow and ice, on a 2wd f350 with no weight they did as good as could be expected
Looking into these for my F250 thank you for the honest review on a HD truck.
cooper is now owned by goodyear now the last american tire company. i am glad you did this video got 11 mega cab
I have a 2021 ram 4X4 crew cab, these will be my next tires for sure! :) Thanks
I got the same tires on my Silverado LT 5.3 Z71 4x4 crew cab. Got them 3 weeks ago and so far so good. Poured down rain this morning and they handled excellent at 75-80mph. Cooper tires are owned by Goodyear. Goodyear bought Cooper tires in June 2021. Hopefully they keep making them as good as they are. I've used the AT3 for years.
I'm looking into getting these for my silverado, they seam to be holding up well?
Thanks for the video. I'm in the market, for a replacement, of my all season radials that came with my 05 Chevy Z71 pickup. I do plan on going off-road and driving in Michigan winters.
I was between these coopers and the baja boss at. Went with the baja boss ats and love them! Have them on my 22 ram 3500 megacab, may try these rugged treks on a work truck.
Had ridge grappler on my 07 tahoe ltz. Did great in all weather and hauling. But really interested in these cooper rugged treks. Try them out based on your review!!
I have the Baja boss ats and they've been phenomenal. Eat through snow like nothing. Good in wet weather but that's getting worse as they wear with syping decreasing. Was impressed in the mud pulling a 14 ft dual axle trailer through it. I try to keep it a pavment princess. Denali weighs about 7k pounds from the extra weight and tow sometimes very recently. Used to tow very often on this same set. Have a little over 60k on them and they are at 12/32 out of 18/32. 10 ply. Rotated every 6k.
Thought about trying the rugged trek. The bfg ko3 that's coming out is on my mind as well as the general grabber atx.
Coopers make a solid tire have some on my Colorado & and 2500 I got 35k on st maxx’s just keep them rotated and they’ll wear even and last u if you don’t neglect them
How’s those tires ride after u have had them? Get Loud ? Smooth?
Probably have 20k miles on them now and still ride great!
I'm torn between these and the Nitto Exo Grappler.
Either are a great choice! Go with which ever you can get the best deal on. I am super happy with the Coopers though.
I go back & forth on the Exo Grapplers but I’ve seen a lot of feedback and a few videos suggesting they’re pretty loud on the highway.
This is my second winter on these Rugged Trek tires. One of the best tires I’ve ran. Highly recommend.
Any update video on the coopers?
Not yet! I have about 5k miles on them and so far no complaints.
Got an update?
Do they have load range E or F ?
These are load range F
They have lt and non lt, lt is e
Have these on my 15' 3500 Duramax.. absolutely love these tires.
Do they feel slightly more bumpy feeling while driving down the road?
Not at all
@@A4Outdoors I have them on my Tacoma. Sometimes they're smooth and other times a little bumpy. I guess it's just the roads around here.
