I love the album design!! the only thing that is making me sad is that some AI art is included into it (se 4:23 ). please please be mindful for future releases!! Our Yves' image is on the line here, she doesn't need AI art, it doesn't come natural for her, as it contrasts with her hard work and her past experiences. Yves has a past of being exploited by capitalism, so using AI art, the manifestation of capitalisms take on art and creativity as empty and just a tool, doesn't come natural, but comes lazily and uninspired. This doesnt fit our hardworking yves who always does her best. The rest of the album looks amazing, most orbits were so in awe with the direction taken! That is why I know that the designer has the skill to do better!! We're rooting for him to do his best the next time without exploiting art, creativity and the people behind it.

I am a graphic designer and I agree! I understand that AI can help give a surreal feeling for something that is supposed to be otherworldly and dream-like but, i'm sure the designer could have a achieved this through collage, stock photos edited, or even working with an illustrator or photographer who can help make that happen!
The album is very unique, just like Yves. The designer did a great work capturing Yves' essence too, my favorite one is the cd case, that's something really creative, just like the photobook interior. I love this album!!

Relax, ur going to live, coming from my parents that are graphic designers they say Ai is more like an extension of their skills and makes the process more efficient and also helps them visualize things better.
i love the album and the design is beautiful and very well thought out! while i understand that the ai being used here is something that adds to the house being a dream of yves for her and her family, i think there had to have been other ways of executing this dream like character without using ai, as ai is trained on art from artists who do not receive any compensation for their work being stolen by such technology.
I ordered both versions, but if I knew about the scratch-off tickets I think I would've ordered more copies. It looks so well thought-out, I can't wait to get mine in the mail
loved the album and bought it! it does have a great design and i'm happy with how it came out. but about the house page: generative AI necessarily uses actual handmade art by people to feed its image bank. the majority of the artists did not consent with that as they weren't even asked about it. they were robbed. and it affect their jobs, they're workers too. if you guys care about art and a more ethical way of doing/consuming it i hope that you don't use AI in future projects. even if it seems more convenient. as a fan, i would like it much more if instead it was a commissioned art, not only because of the inconsistencies/errors that the image has but because it would be and feel human, a vital part of what art actually is about.

The album design is art itself. It's so interesting everything they did with it...kpop albums have been looking the same for a while now so Yves's album comes as a refreshing surprise. I'm not into collecting albums but I'll make sure a get a copy!!!

It is not the basis of the entire design piece for the house but could have been used as a generative tool like with ps in slicing images together. he mentioned editing it many times over to bring it to the point where it was the final piece. he is an artist using this as a tool rather than someone pretending to be one while stealing from others. graphic designers are artists and it's kind of disappointing how some are not recognizing that, he IS the artist hired for this team and used it as a tool, he's being paid for his work and was open and transparent about how it was used

that's not how it works. generative ai used in the context of illustration is ALWAYS stealing from non consenting artists. this is wrong and does not suddenly become good just because someone claims it is a tool. it's not. using ai as a tool would be something like asking chatgpt for main points in an essay topic you give it. a real illustrator could have been paid to make something that does capture the dream yves described to him. her dream is warm and filled with love for her family, yet the illustration lacks emotion, depth, and skill. graphic designers are artists, yes, and often times they work together with illustrators too. there are different types of artists and none of them deserve to lose a job to ai
I love the albums but I was really disappointed seeing AI. I don't know if I'm excited to still receive my albums. This could have been a great opportunity to work with a talented human artist. The AI image is also so generic & ordinary- I've seen so many AI art that looks exactly like that drawing. Instead of using the real dreamlike feelings that people go through, we have this. it just feels like a cheap copy that doesn't live up to how amazing the rest of the album is.
