    goddamn i loved his playing with JFJO and marco benevento's trio. haven't heard what he's been up to in a long time, and this is an extremely nice surprise. go reed.

    I love this version. Way to go Reed! You can sing AND play guitar? WOW! And to think, 14 years ago all I thought you did was play bass in avant jazz band JFJO!! COOL!!! I hope they post more Reed Mathis covers!!!

    Like Jerry, Reed just goes for it. I saw him at High Sierra once playing bass with Marco, and he just turned his sh*t up to 11 with a fuzz pedal and went nuts, laughing and playing at an absurd volume. It was awesome.
