One of Carlins integral speeches, I enhanced the audio on most of the segment and shortened this video to the most memorable parts (Which is most of his speech anyway. I wanted to have my own record of George on my channel. Enjoy

I was born in 1957; and you and I must have had very different friends, growing up.
During the mid-to-late 1960's, and even into the '70's, with Nixon and Watergate, the two (2) hottest standup comics were George Carlin and Mort Sahl.
Every record they came out with, flew off the shelves; and we had listening parties, weekend nights, that lasted 'til sunrise!!

Hotseated? This is a National News Club dinner he was invited to host, probably where the Annual Correspondents Dinner came from. So he wrote this way before and practiced it for probably dozens of hours before performing it here.
He took most of this on tour in the early 2000's I think.
