God... listening to older music makes me realize how time flies by as your growing... I was 8 when this came out, when my parents were younger, when my grandparents had more energy, when my sister and I use to actually play, fight, and somehow get along. Now my parents are older and grown apart, grandparents are dead or losing their energy, my sister has her own family nos, I'm in college stressing about bills and grades... crazy. To me, this song reminds me that during those times in our lives, where we are struggling just to breathe and feel lost in the dark trying to find our way out of the situation you are dealing with, that your guardian angel is there and like a message from your guardian angel to hang in there and never give up. Will the way out of that situation be easy? No, but it will be worth it. Yes, I have dealt with wanting to give up. Feeling like what is the use of going on. This song is like a message to me to hang in there, and that I am not alone.
Also for anyone who may read this who can relate to what I have said or even someone who is just having a hard time with whatever it is they are dealing, to you I say please, please hang in there. Almost a decade. 2019. I am a Grown Matured Man. My first love just reminded me of this song ( it was our promise song. ). We have been on and off, left each other for YEARS. she has her own life. God... listening to older music makes me realize how time flies by as your growing... I was 8 when this came out, when my parents were younger, when my grandparents had more energy, when my sister and I use to actually play, fight, and somehow get along. Now my parents are older and grown apart, grandparents are dead or losing their energy, my sister has her own family nos, I'm in college stressing about bills and grades... crazy. All in 11 years, but feels like just a couple of days ago when I listen go music from back then.

My first tattoo :') I have the first two lines of the chorus on my upper back... I remember seeing them live soon after and Ronnie noticed my tattoo and the band actually came out to the bar after the show. They all hung out with us and talked and I met Ronnie :) It is such a fond memory.
