In high school I was trying to build a snowman but I couldn’t even start because the snow was melting too fast in my bare hands. I sleep outside in the single digits and fall into heat exhaustion in the summer when it gets into the 80s with the humidity in the South. I have had thyroid issues, but mostly hyperthyroidism which should lead to me having sensitivity to the cold. The only thing I can think of is my awful metabolism, but to this extent I just feel like a freak of nature. I’ve never met anyone like me. The only reason I make sure to keep it above 45° in my condo is for my cats.

I wear shorts bare legged when its 2degrees farenheit&im comfortable&I like the cold&snow on my bare legs and I shovel snow in shorts too&i worn worn shorts in 8degree farenheit&my legs were bare&it felt real good.

I am 16 and I can literally walk with shorts at a winter storm. Whether it be -2 degrees I will still not feel cold. However when I go home, and they put the heater on I feel very hot and sweaty. I can not sleep at all. It's very bothersome.
