I've got that sea salt white cw and played 3 games in that "support" insole. I have to tie all the 3 lace holes on the top, to keep my heel locked in. The actual color has a tiny tint of yellowish, not pure white. Nice review!
Very smart Love for a new basketball shoe company to do! They realize how much Kobe’s are in demand and how impossible they are to get without dropping a ton of cash and in their first model, they decide to design a shoe thats extremely close to a Kobe not just looks wise but performance wise. I’m sure most are like I am and wouldn’t mind if they continued this thought process.
I think making their first shoe out the gate look like a Kobe was smart on their end. It brought attention to the model and company that wouldn't have been there if it looked like something else (Stria Sports as an example).
Shape/silhouette is Kobe 10, sole is comparable (minus the carbon plate which is Kobe 9) to Mamba Rage, the interchangeable in soles are from KOBE 7 system. Knit finish is very near to KOBE 9. Nice clean look tho since there's no swoosh/logo dominating the shoe's design.
Fits perfect in the 9s. Good lateral containment too compared to a Kobe 11 or Lebron 11 insole. My only con is that the midsole feels thin in the forefoot.
Quick question… can you put Kobe drop-ins (say from lunarlon drop ins or whatever Kobe 8 / 9 has) into the shoe… basically wondering what drop ins fit inside the shoe
Great shoes, good traction and cushion. Only down side is the nubs on the grip start to fall off after playing 2 indoor session. I hope they come out with a harder rubber outsole.
Sammy said in the video that the next models are going to have an updated outsole. Assuming that means they will be removing the nubs and doing just straight herringbone or something else.
For my Kobe’s, I want to get a replacement midsole, so should I get a full size up compared to my Kobe’s. I want to buy a new midsole for my Kobe’s since they’re flattened.
Dame Certified or Renew Elevate 3 or any better shoe under 100$? Which one is better for supporting the feet. I feel a lot of pain after playing basketball for like 2 hours so i need shoes which would lessen that pain. (sorry for bad english its not my main language)
Sounds like someone confirmed that their midsole will fit a Kobe 11 so should go the other way as well. Other than the Kobe’s drop in being a little thinner it appears they would be interchangeable
Random question but is the Company German by any chance? Because on the support Midsole there is "Was dich nicht umbringt macht dich stärker" written which means "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" in German.
forgive me for reminding you but i remember a few years ago you said that kobe 11 are not good shoes 🙈 and now you say you like them. I would like to ask how is it with them in the end? Greetings
There was traction inconsistencies, mainly with translucent rubber outsoles, which picked up hella dust and they became slippery, but they basically were a bit less clunky with a tad worse traction in solid rubber colorways
@@K0M394 yeah, but the LeBron XX works better for me because I need/like a good impact protection with some nice courtfeel and responsiveness, although you can mitigate that with in the Kobes 8, 9 and 11 with a LeBron 11 Zoom + Lunarlon drop-in midsole. But if you gave me to just choose one with their "factory settings" I would go with the LeBron XX for sure
Kobes are overrated, I had a few pairs growing up and my feet use to always hurt after balling for a few hours, also easy to roll your ankles in them and they wouldnt last outside and the cushion was horrible after playing with them for 3 months . So I truly don’t understand why people love Kobe’s, had at least 6 pair growing up, most were low and one I had was very high top , can’t remember the name but shit was high
@@FrancisT4283 I assume they'll probably be around $190 retail, that's how much all the Protro 6's were. It sucks because the 8s were my favorite hooping shoes ever, & they were only like $130 back then.
What kind of basketball shoe company doesnt sell basketball player sized shoes. Im 6’5 and wear a 14. I love Kobe’s shoes. I was ready to jump on these. No shoes above 13🥲.
If the first shoe out the gate is a banger, i cant wait for the player 2s to drop. Praying for a simple black and white or all black colorway.
All black pair of these would be fire I have the black pink pair
so sick!! Super encouraging to hear they're taking your feedback as well

These are also more innovative than the stria sport. They also just looked pretty generic which didn’t help them
Yeah these go hard af nice vid Sammy
The pre-edition yellow is pretty dope! thanks for the review

I just wanna know if I can fit insoles from Kobes (like my Mamba Rages) into them
@@MrMeMyselfandI I saw a vid from another channel showing that the insoles from other Kobes are indeed compatible to this model.
does the drop ins for the serious player one's fit the kobe 9's and if so how is the sizing?

I've been informed by them that the new insole can fit into Kobe 11 as I'm looking to replace mine. Maybe you can try this out for us....
And vice versa? Wanna know if I can fit Kobe insoles into them as well
Does the player one DROP IN fit in the Kobe 11 or any of the other Kobe’s????? Ik I’m not the only one thinking this lol
it means that the arch support of support midsole is better than te explosive midsole?please reply. thanks

@soledrop would you happen to do reviews on Reps???
Could you do a review of hooping in different barefoot shoes? I've noticed the traction is top tier and feels really natural to play in.
Mixmatching the black wit the pink is tuff
Better technology, better design, better option
On the new insole "Was mich nicht umbringt macht mich stärker" - what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. -nice touch
I understand being inspired by Kobes but god damn slap a Nike swosh on these and it's literally a Kobe...
Sammy how do these compare to the wow 808 2 v2 ultras? I am trying to pick a shoe?

do you think the drop in would work in the 808 2
no
Can you use these midsoles in the cosmic unity 3’s?
Do you think the drop in midsole would fit in the Nike gt cut 1?
can you try if that midsole can fit in li ning 808..
I'm glad Nike ditched lunarlon definitely their worst foam set up
I wish someday, someone built drop in full zoom strobe lol
DOES IT FIT IN THE 9S WITHOUT HEELSLIPAGE !?!!?!
Does the insole fit in the 11s??
Serious player is the next li ning
Please review the kd 3 retro
can you use this new Drop-in Midsole to WOW 808-2s?
can they make bigger sizes though?
Do the SPO Insoles fit in kobe drop in soles and Gt cuts?

Should i get lebron 20 or gt cut 2
Lebron 20

I think they should have sign a nba player tho for marketing purposes.
Player 1 or 808 2 ultra v2?
I have the same question bruh
They only go to size 13...
