      I do if you look at my previous history with negative cashflow case studies. It’s tough but not impossible.

    Collateralizing an asset to get a loan that you then pay off monthly is literally an amortized loan….

    • @DenzelNapoleonRodriguez
      @DenzelNapoleonRodriguez  Год назад

      You are correct what you just said based on the language you used. If you said collateralizing an asset to get a line of credit to use whenever you want and the interest is calculated simple is literally just a line of credit then I would be right too. So you use a loan and I use lines two different things.

    • @confusedzentradi
      @confusedzentradi Год назад +1

      @@DenzelNapoleonRodriguez Lines of credit are generally not collateralized, which is why they have such high interest rates. One exception being a HELOC. Your definition would be inaccurate because interest is calculated using the compound method not simple method. I see you have not taken the time to lookup the meaning of simply interest versus compound interest since our Zoom chat almost three years ago.

    • @DenzelNapoleonRodriguez
      @DenzelNapoleonRodriguez  Год назад

      @@confusedzentradi hey good to hear from you again. I would love to jump on a zoom call again and show my interest statements of clients and myself. I will share how my interest works without using any technical language because that is where you get caught up.
      Here is how my interest is calculated. When I withdraw 10k from line of credit at 6.25% on Monday I will be charged $1.71. On Tuesday I will be charged $1.71 and on Wednesday I will be charged $1.71. On Thursday I pay back my line of credit $5,000 my balance owed will be $5,005.13 and on that day I will pay $0.85

    • @confusedzentradi
      @confusedzentradi Год назад +1

      @@DenzelNapoleonRodriguez Good to hear from you too. We can setup a time to chat. As I’ve always said, your intentions are good, just some knowledge gaps I hope you resolve. I get caught up on technical words because they are important. Your simple interest calculation is correct. Thanks very much for using a numeric example as that helps immensely. Now, how about an example of compound interest?

    • @DenzelNapoleonRodriguez
      @DenzelNapoleonRodriguez  Год назад

      @@confusedzentradi I don’t operate my tools on compound interest and neither do my examples. At the end of each month the interest simply gets added to the balance I owe on the line of credit. So I simply add the interest to balance and continue do my math the way explained.

    How can this be done with a low credit score under 620 and a obscene amount of debt, when most helocs require that minimum score of 620?

    These are okayish numbers. Those credit scores suggest a disciplined person.

    • @DenzelNapoleonRodriguez
      @DenzelNapoleonRodriguez  Год назад +1

      Explain what you mean by okayish numbers? Any situation where there is negative cashflow is not healthy in my opinion

    • @shieh.4743
      @shieh.4743 Год назад

      @@DenzelNapoleonRodriguez It isn't their negative cash flow that I look at, but the person's ability to reverse it and how quickly. This is clearly someone with a low income, which is the cause of the debt - which is far easier to support/guide than someone with a high income but struggles with impulsiveness. By making some quick corrections, that cash flow situation improves immediately. He cuts off his subscriptions and pays off one of his debts with savings and he is already reaching a zero cash flow before he does anything else. If he could generate even $250 more a month in any extra work or sell some things to pay off/down that CC, he could be at a 0 to positive cash flow inside a month.

    • @DenzelNapoleonRodriguez
      @DenzelNapoleonRodriguez  Год назад

      It is possible to have money saved but spend more than you make. I don’t understand how that is misleading. I’m working another case with a lady that just has social security income around 2,500 her expenses are like 4k but she has 60k in savings. That doesn’t mean she is in a good position eventually the money will run out if we don’t make changes.
