      Anyone can. Keep going it's worth the work and blood sweat and tears. Don't ever give up!! Even the great EVH sucked at some point!! Every single ONE of them, all had to do EXACTLY what we are doing except they were OBSESSED, almost in an unhealthy way but healthy at the same time because it's what they live and love.
      That doesn't mean YOUR goals have to be to be a virtuoso tho. Maybe they are, who knows, but if you really want to, you CAN do it. Promise!
      Nothing worth having EVER comes easy!! Remember that!

      The black dots are the position of all the notes you can play which will sound nice over the backing track.. 3f 5f etc are third fret 5th fret etc. The dots with the R in are the root notes (a in this case) so all the dots with an R are the note A.

    • @MintFX0
      @MintFX0 2 года назад +5

      The black notes are notes within the pentatonic scale (a minor) on fretboard

    • @maxargue744
      @maxargue744 Год назад +3

      So “R” stands for the “root note” which is, in this case, “Am” or “A minor”
      “F” i.e “3F” “5F” stands for “fret” so fifth fret etc.
      The dots show the scales, which basically sound nice when you play them after each other in some form of order (like a solo or a lead riff)
      My advice would be to learn the A minor scale (the dots on the video), memorise it then you can literally solo and/or improv a riff to this sound in the background🤯🤯
      I recently learnt this and it’s so much fun which is why I hoped this helped👍🤟
