David Loftus is it really hitscan tho?? I swear the rule of fortnite was that anything with a scope has drop/velocity. But if its not scoped its a laser. Or did they change that?? Bc thatd explain my terrible relationship with the scopey
He didn't mean it was literally hitscan. He just meant that there wasn't that much bullet velocity.

I came back to playing this game yesterday after a long time not playing it. I instantly had the urge to uninstall because I noticed the dab was added as an emote.

Got kinda annoyed when he switched the shields for the medkit rather than switching out the bandages for the medkit.

That's why I love this game, the element of building offers gameplay virtually unseen of before.
The only thing I have seen even remotely close Is private survival games in Minecraft. Always was a blast.

Am I the only one that noticed that everything he built towards the end was built on a staircase that had REALLY low ”health”, if someone shot that weak thing, he would have fallen to the ground :p
Yeah, that was super risky. I'm amazed no one shot him down. If you are building up for a quick shot like that it's actually better to use wood believe it or not. It has less health overall, but builds quicker. Brick and steel are stronger once built but are very weak for the first 2 or 3 seconds while building.

I use Q for walls, V for stairs, and F for floors.. makes it a LOT faster to react to getting shot at, and building up in general.. Keep up the amazing content Jack. :)

Really nice to see you mention Dakotaz, and i agree, building is really important, and it's something i don't do either!
@dakotaz getting a shoutout from jack
jack they actually did address shields, those mini blue potions are quite common and can give you up to 50 shield very quickly. It's worth hanging onto them instead of bandages, especially if you have a medkit on hand. Also the silenced pistol is pretty OP at the moment, you can actually hang onto it in place of a rifle and still do very well. If you like dakotaz check out High Distortion, they play together frequently and you'll learn a ton from them.
Jack, if your mouse has thumb buttons then bind your wall and ramp build keys to either one of them. It makes the game so much easier since those are the two builds you'll be using the most. As for the floor and pyramid, you can simply use your scroll wheel or default keys to use them. I hope this helps.

Jack, here’s a tip: You can scroll through the building blocks with your mouse scroller, just like with weapons in your normal inventory. No need to change keys!

Nice video, Jack. ;) If you have extra mouse buttons (lets say 2 near a thumb), bind wall and ramp building on it. I use it and it's super comfortable
playing the pve game will help you build. They have special missions where you have to build things based on their blueprints. it realllly helps.

Silenced gamemode is so much fun. Almost like a hardcore mode because no tracers and no explosives.

btw jack I think in my opinion that you are also considered one of the best player that plays fortnite. I like how you get ideas from pubg and portray that in when you play fortnite.

Lol i find it funny that he won bc he was so oblivious to loot and other players. He’s got good shooting skills tho to make up for it.
To change between your building structures just use your scroller on your mouse to switch between them faster
Just use Q to toggle your building and then you can scroll through the different structures!
It's way more efficient having your build buttons on your mouse. Being able to freely use AWSD while building makes you way more precise and quick. If you have your building on Q it will interfere with you strafing left every single time u need to build. Also having to scroll between structures is much slower than having a button for it. Most good players who are known for their building have most of the building structures on their mouse.
I agree but not everyone has macros on their mouse...I only have two on the side so i'd rather scroll through it than pressing 1,2,3, etc.. on my keyboard because then I still have the ability to use WASD efficiently.
Even binding them to other keys and not the F1-4 keys is useful. I personally hate the feeling of using buttons on a mouse other than the main 3.

Jack trust that silenced pistol is one of the best weapons in the game, next time you see one pick it up
You can hide inside drops if ur on it's landing spot.
If your mouse has buttons on the side you can use the back one to activate your build ability
