RIP to Micheal Browning. He was a true pioneer!! And a huge amount of respect and admiration towards Richard browning for continuing the family legacy I’m sure your father is so happy and proud to see you pushing the boundaries of science & Engineering. We now know his jet pack is even further down the line 4 years later🙏🏾.
He sounds like stark.... same story, father / son engineer... same set for the audience... same concept... same humour! the avengers' soon... get the HULK!!!
This was great, thanks, I been tryin to find out about "real iron man 2 costume for sale" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Xenacob Heyndrew Guide - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my work buddy got great results with it.
Everyone should be engineering and doing stuff like this. Its too the point where the average person doesn't know what a flask is, a metric ruler, nor do they probably even know what they are truly capable of. This guy just motivated me to go back in the lab.
This engineering talk was really refreshing after the architecture critic's talk. Seriously, architecture CRITIC? That's like going to college to study History of Art History.
when I was 10 I drew a twin jet powered waist belt that had short 14 inch wings with hand controlled elevators and an aero helmet...that was 58 years ago.. you`ve done well my friend
Hey my friend he said at the starting stage he bought the micro gas turbine . If im correct thats what he said would you have any ideas where to buy them? i am currently investing in building just like his.
+Kb A I totally agree. TED have just started branching out in they're interests; they still cover much of what they used to. Do you complain each time a new tampon hits the market, if you're a man? Do you complain when they change ingredients in cat food, if you don't have a cat? Look for the stuff that does cover your interests and don't worry about the stuff which suits other people.
@Cheis Searle Perfect response- and I totally agree. A hyper-fixation on the self can be limiting in understanding the value of knowledge, ideas or insights that may benefit others.
milestehmad117 i dont know what u mean. in the last 4 weeks we had 8 science and 6 motivation/livetheorie/psychology talks. im fine with that. even if it was 1 to 9 i would be happy to have ted
just imagine during those ancient times who could have belive that touch screen, airplane, Internet etc can even be created but it did. right now we may look at him as it's stupid idea waste of time, money..but just imagine someday this might turn out to be a hot selling.. gadget....Like any other....
Yêpp, perhaps U'r right But he's traying to sell his revolutionary and awesome invent (nø doubts about that) to *the Royal Navy Army* ISIS exist into this "world better place" too. _Just think about it..._ .
Augment the upper arm strength with a simple exoskeleton that stiffens up when a load is applied. Build it into his suite. Impressive work without a doubt.
Bahoot bahetrin badiyaa.......jone wakai jo karnama tumne kar dikhya woo apne mein yagda hai ham too bas agle pichlo ke bas naam hi suna karte tthe lekin tumne too dost itna zabardast kaam kar dikha diya jo utna hi bahetrin hai jitna ki tumhara farmola wakai sacsecc hoo all the best.......
"...save your ears and talk over it, after awhile the sound of the jet engines can get a bit 'annoying'..." The piercing whistle of rockets primed for lift off? The thrust of hand-made hurricanes? The shriek of human beings becoming F16s? *Never.* Richard Browning, your father had achieved his greatest invention and shared it with the world in the shape of a fine young man. We're all quite proud of you.
What fun! I wanted to jump up and clap for him at the first controlled effort. I'll be sharing this with my teacher friends for them to use as a model of method. Thanks for sharing!
That's a wonderful way of fulfilling hi father's wish...out ot=f pain, trgedy came this wonderful, majestic invention...after seeing present videos...Gravity Industries is gonna roc the world.
Going back to the boot mounted version, a feedback control system to monitor the stability, and if added to a powered exoskelaton to reduce the force needed to control the arms, this would be well on it's way to being Iron Man.
Shut up and take my money! The guy gives a great speech. Pity the audience wasn't in a better mood, I was expecting at least a cheer when he started freaking flying.
bullshit Yeah, like riding a bike. Failing is part of success. Can't have one without the other. Well, on rate occasions you get lucky on the first try but not often.
+Rxonmymind Yes it did existed but was in Alexandria all inventions. When europeans stole from Romans which they stole the books of Alexandria, then european thieves copied the greek inventions, mathematics, cars electricity etc just in 140 years so fast. Just in 140 years they got everything just out of nowhere? Nope. Stolen from all inventions from Alexandria. It is facts 100%.
Why not add one on each leg with the last design. Or make shoes with side vents to pull air down to give more stability and downward thrust to give it more lift plus speed.
Have you thought about considering robotic arms instead? Or maybe considering adjustable magnetic generator to enforce opsit resistance encase you can generate enough power for it."hypothetically"
They had an article in the paper about these - I'm not sure they are perhaps useful for the military ? Maybe I'm wrong but they look very cumbersome and obvious.
Most striking is that he likens human flight to riding a bike, and after a bit, it becomes natural 👍 Well said!
He sounds like stark.... same story, father / son engineer... same set for the audience... same concept... same humour! the avengers' soon... get the HULK!!!
well oneday or i don't know this guy will become iron man
I’ll BE I’ll be hulk
He doesn't sound like stark at all
This was great, thanks, I been tryin to find out about "real iron man 2 costume for sale" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Xenacob Heyndrew Guide - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my work buddy got great results with it.
The rock?
One more step until we have an actual Iron Man!
Brandon Medina
yehh.. one down.. 9999 more to go.
yea, but then people will complain about it.
"Why don't we have a
Biodegradable Lightweight Materials Gender-Neutral Person"?!!!
#Sonu sharma Jeez. Whatever happend to optimism? Before we didnt have this technology and now we do. Its a step in the right direction.
impossible is a word humans use far to often
And here I thought Elon Musk would be the one to become Iron Man.
Finally something wonderful to view on TED.
Adam Savage with the appearance there ... Dude is in all kinds of cool places it appears
Everyone should be engineering and doing stuff like this. Its too the point where the average person doesn't know what a flask is, a metric ruler, nor do they probably even know what they are truly capable of. This guy just motivated me to go back in the lab.
and make what?
what have you made?
Im sure that dude helping him kit up was Adam Savage from Myth Busters
it was
it was Adam and he doesn't do mythbusters anymore
he's doing "Tested" instead, he made a video with him and that's how I got to this video :D
This engineering talk was really refreshing after the architecture critic's talk.
Seriously, architecture CRITIC? That's like going to college to study History of Art History.
I love how Adam is just in this video and no one says anything about it.
when I was 10 I drew a twin jet powered waist belt that had short 14 inch wings with hand controlled elevators and an aero helmet...that was 58 years ago.. you`ve done well my friend
Hey my friend he said at the starting stage he bought the micro gas turbine . If im correct thats what he said would you have any ideas where to buy them? i am currently investing in building just like his.
How revolutionary. Makes me think of the struggles that came with creating the first airplane, how expensive it probably was, etc.
Naturally you attract the help of none other than Adam Savage! :D (at the end). I expect we shall see a 'Tested' video about this.
I had to go back and pause I was not sure lol
Rebumai same
I was sure it was Adam but I wanted to cruise the comments to make sure someone else noticed. Iron man dream team
tested just made a video about this!.... haha
Don't forget Colin Furze, another crazy one
this is what TED used to be about, it has lost it's way over the past 6 years.
Just watch the videos you're interested in mate. Every Ted Talk is not for everyone. I don't get why people think everything is made for them.
+Kb A I totally agree. TED have just started branching out in they're interests; they still cover much of what they used to. Do you complain each time a new tampon hits the market, if you're a man? Do you complain when they change ingredients in cat food, if you don't have a cat?

Jason Pressler you know this guy is a troll right??
it is about presenting ideas which can be of any topic or interest.
@Cheis Searle
Perfect response- and I totally agree. A hyper-fixation on the self can be limiting in understanding the value of knowledge, ideas or insights that may benefit others.
Wow a Ted video that isn't pushing some ideological BS and is just super cool and informative.
Trigger much, Miles?
Most TED videos are cool and informative, its just that you are biased against some of them.
Oh no! Ideologies that you do not agree with! What ever will you do!
Hey look, someone so butthurt about ideas that he can't help but inject them into a ted talk about engineering.
Good job.
milestehmad117 i dont know what u mean. in the last 4 weeks we had 8 science and 6 motivation/livetheorie/psychology talks. im fine with that. even if it was 1 to 9 i would be happy to have ted

Miracle is just a piece of truth , Which is too ahead of our observation of time and space
We need People like him to make world better place.
Yêpp, perhaps U'r right
But he's traying to sell his revolutionary and awesome invent (nø doubts about that) to *the Royal Navy Army*
ISIS exist into this "world better place" too.
_Just think about it..._
.
It's super super cool!!!!!!
He's got his own company - ''GRAVITY INDUSTRY''
You're the best my man thank you
Love your determination and confidence in creating this jet suit, and making your father proud of you.
Yeah it's inspiring and heartwarming! I'm surprised your comment didn't get more likes.
Augment the upper arm strength with a simple exoskeleton that stiffens up when a load is applied. Build it into his suite. Impressive work without a doubt.
The beauty of trial and error always wins.
Want!!! I definitely want one of these!
Same lol
This is insane I hope they mass produce something like this it would be crazy.
Your Dad is ABSOLUTELY Smiling Down on You Today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
God Bless You.
One word- incredible
Bahoot bahetrin badiyaa.......jone wakai jo karnama tumne kar dikhya woo apne mein yagda hai ham too bas agle pichlo ke bas naam hi suna karte tthe lekin tumne too dost itna zabardast kaam kar dikha diya jo utna hi bahetrin hai jitna ki tumhara farmola wakai sacsecc hoo all the best.......
Never give up your work!
"...save your ears and talk over it, after awhile the sound of the jet engines can get a bit 'annoying'..."
The piercing whistle of rockets primed for lift off?

The shriek of human beings becoming F16s?

Richard Browning, your father had achieved his greatest invention and shared it with the world in the shape of a fine young man. We're all quite proud of you.
Adam!
Pretty good start. I would love to see it happen
These videos are why I subscribed to you guys.
Bravo, step by step, you can be performant and Best. Good
They've come so far since then.
Well done..... EXCELLENT WORK...!
I remember watching the video of him developing and creating this jetpack.. I now cannot find that video anywhere
That was so cool when I saw Adam Savage!
omG.. really awesome.. great work.. 😎👍
He is the real inventor. .....i wish i could be work with him ......
Anunaki...fantastic!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍
Cool guy, cool development
I love the sound of the reactor...
about time someone built this
Combining this with some of the newer up and coming exoskeleton technology ... imagine the possibilities.
What fun! I wanted to jump up and clap for him at the first controlled effort. I'll be sharing this with my teacher friends for them to use as a model of method. Thanks for sharing!
Amazing!
Bloody Fabulous
2:05 Reminds me of suits from Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars. I would be happy to leap high like that seems extremely fun and thrilling.
That's really cool. A brilliant achievement!
fantastic
That's a wonderful way of fulfilling hi father's wish...out ot=f pain, trgedy came this wonderful, majestic invention...after seeing present videos...Gravity Industries is gonna roc the world.
Once I have this technology I will design a smart jet suit that will make flying easier and efficient.
Very nice all the best....
great motivations, I loved.
One day, I'll become an engineer & scientist.
I feel like this is all very underrated
That's so awesome! the future is now!
5 years down.
Gravity industries is doing absolutely amazing!
Near future plans:
- Ability to reach parachute altitude
- Flight control surfaces
- Extended flight time
Distant future??
- Thorium plasma power cell
- Carbon Nanotube Armor
- Ballistic Weave Bodywear
- ???
Wow I like this...big man sir
I need one of those so I can jump the queue at the supermarket during lockdown 🤫
World Is Changing
goals
Just Awesome.
God bless you!

Oh MY God that was AMaZinG...Great WorK Richard BrowninG
Are you special?
Why do you say that @harrier331
You have caps on random letters.
If you have any problem with that then sorry man ..
cant wait to 2018 update :)
You should have 5 units on your back joined on a pivot attached to a steel pole over your shoulder to control jet direction
Great...awesome experiment.
Good video.
OH !!! I just gotta get one of those for CHRISTMAS!!! 🙂🙂🙂
Good job for future
This warms my nerd heart
6'2" and obese.
I just want enough sustained thrust that my knees think I lost the weight.
Or you could just lose the weight. That way you won't need any machines to hold you up.
6 feet, 90 pounds, yea
Time to visit a butcher for a cut ^_^
That sucks :( I hope you are able to lose weight. If you're trying to lose weight I wish you all the luck in the world.
Id love to do this
this is sooo cool!!!
That was amazing
awesome amazing
I love how they half speed his wobbly failed attempt at hovering.
bullshit

It's all fake
I love the fact he wore a Giro Air Attack Shield helmet.
That is so cool!
Cool... Aaand amazing as well!
I have thought of doing this so many times with jets lol good to see :)
how is it going forward i didn't quite understand?
Your father missed so much and I am sure he would of been very proud of his son 👍

BATMAN NEEDS TO WATCH AND LEARN!!!!!!
Ah, Mr Browning finally got to TED, i wondered when it would eventually happen.
Good one!
should try three on the legs and two on the arms. For the legs put 2 behind the calf and 1 in front the shin
si, Richard tiene razón: “El cuerpo y la mente humana, conectados de una manera adecuada, pueden alcanzar grandes cosas”
Brilliant
awesome Bhai
How can I buy the starter thing?
They had an article in the paper about these - I'm not sure they are perhaps useful for the military ? Maybe I'm wrong but they look very cumbersome and obvious.
Está legendado! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
They need to make a simple exoskeletal arm rig, then you could add a lot more thrust at that point...
