I rewatch every year, and they are all so amazing at playing the different versions (& eras) of themselves. I can forget that she is one actor playing both roles, since the characters feel so different. Such a great show!
I discovered about fringe during covid lockdown in india. And I have finished watching all 5 seasons. She has owned this character. Even the way she says 'Dunham' when she answers her call. In love with this show
It's July 2020, I'm 63 years of age and I have just discovered Fringe. I've binge watched to the point where I'm approaching the finale of season 3 and I've become mildly obsessed with alternate universe version of Agent Dunham. She's such a sexy girl next door kind of redhead with a "fringe" that sets off her perfect smile. And that voice. Wow. Talk about smooth. Also, I love the way her Aussie accent sneaks in on this interview.
I absolutely adore Anna Torv. I can’t watch her in anything else. She totally owned Olivia Dunham’s character and found her niche in the type of shows and characters she is made for. She is a lead actor and nothing else that needs to be casted in FBI/Police/action type shows/movies. The chemistry she had with Joshua Jackson was special and probably the best couple/love story I’ve ever seen. It made me sick when they ended the show. The cast was perfect and irreplaceable. Fringe could have ran for 10 seasons easily. Friggin JJ Abrams and his infinite wisdom created and killed one of the most epic original shows in the last 20 years. X-files which I loved couldn’t hold a candle to Fringe. They brought it back and they need to do the same for Fringe. If they did the show would blow up for its relevance is more applicable today. As long as JJ was out people I’ll watch! Thank God for reruns. Ill watch the entire series, take a 3 month break and do it all again. Been doing that since the last episode
Just got done watching the series, again. I cried at the end when Walter walked through the wormhole with Michael. I definitely think the show could have run for 10 years. Great Sci-fi.

I know that if it were to come back it would be so successful. Talk about typecasting other than Nobles the other three just don’t seem to fit in anything else after.

@@maverick744 It's just so well written and so humorous in parts. The references to Star Wars and the funny lines Walter says. I didn't realize John Noble had such a impressive resume. Loved him in Lord of the Rings, too. Anna Torv is perfection as Olivia. I marvel at her screen ability to speak at such gentle tones and still be heard and have such a tender manner with characters on the show.
Olivia Dunham of Fringe which was starred by Anna Torv has been superb and fantastic and also very impressive in a way her manner and characteristics had never been seen in any other films or tv series in my Moving Pictures World and I hope all the budget for having, was supposed to have been set up already , such this amazingly worthwhile not of course long-running tv shows, would have been arranging just in right time by producers to see a interminable F.B.I in Fringe Division.I just concluded final season and I'd say it has been hard to me watching ending scenes ...
She has the most beautiful personality in acting and real life she is the most beautiful woman not only in looks is in everything no all women has that

Fringe is one of the best series ever made, though I am rather saddened by knowing its end is nigh, I think it is for the better of the show. I would not want it to go for so long that the plot would things would get weird even for fringe terms. I have been with it from the very beginning and I love it more by every episode.
I don't think she was being rude. I think she has had experiences from media reporters trying to get the scoop; and this interviewer kept asking the same question in vague and nonspecific ways, likely due to inexperience which you can clearly hear. Anna had answered her questions repeatedly (and nicely) telling her "I can't reveal anything." She was trying to redirect the interviewer a bit more to the point. Once they get past that, Anna goes back to being smiley and attentive.
I'm really going to miss this show... You reall...y start to care about theses characters well the show will live on in reruns and dvd's Anna Torv and J Jackson and the rest of the crew are all lovely
Like when she says "If that's what you're fishing for" and doesn't seem like she's even teasing her, and then in the next second before the interviewer re-frames the question about how she approaches the new material she gives this look like "I already said I can't tell you anything!" At any rate she usually seems much bubblier in other interviews

It's so stupid, trying to find out what's gonna happen ahead of actually watching. I know reporters try to get a scoop to get audience. So it's the audience then ? Just the freaking thing when it comes out. If you don't like it you won't start liking it from some stupid scoop, like "who dies" or whatever.
i wish she would she give away more asnwers about her favorite shows or something, i think out of all the other cast memebers in the show shes the one with the least chances on being in a huge movie or something. (just because i think she'll lose interest)

Ms. Torv and Ms. Black are my favourite scifi actresses, and I really want to see more of both. Sadly, there are no writers at the moment that understand scifi. Even star trek has been trashed, and looks like a Glee reboot now.
