From 93-96 no one hit the off-speed pitches better than Carlos. If you were gonna miss it was wise to miss by a lot.
Imagine if he had been disciplined and had taken care of himself. He would've gone into the Hall of Fame on roller skates. Too bad.
One if By Sea, Two if by Land, 3 if Baeeeeerga!!!
Was at this game.
Love you Carlos!
I was at that game too. It took me years to find this clip. Only recently, I was like, I swear i was at a game once when someone hit two homers in the same inning, one left, one right. No one believed me lol
One of the greatest feats ever. They sent all his gear to the HOF and was on display. A big deal.
Baerga was a beast. That outfield grass was looking rough.
Yes, all the new parks are world's better but does anybody besides me miss the sight of a ball disappearing over a fence rather than just into the stands?
Carlos Baerga made an influence to me,as for batting both sides;but he inspired me to be a *SWITCH-GOLFER* !
¡Boricua! 🇵🇷
Mark Bellhorn also did it in August 2002 for the Cubs
Last season at the mosileim
Los Boricuas 🌴⚾🇵🇷💪 BATEAN un poquito
I was at this game as a child
It was a MLB first, and only, homeruns hit same inning ANDboth sides of the plate.
At the time yes. Mark Bellhorn and Kendrys Morales have done it since Baerga.
Fernando Tatis sr. Hitted 2 grand slams in the same inning
@@aloloxxxx that's a different accomplishment.
@@aloloxxxx And against the same pitcher which is just wild and will likely never happen again.
@@aloloxxxx that's great but he didn't do it from both sides of the plate
One from both sides of the plate. Talk about that my dudes. Jesus.
Please don’t take Our Lord Jesus Christ’s Name in vain. Peace!
Against the scumbag Yankees, at "The Mistake by the Lake"! Those Tribe teams could MASH!
I loved that stadium lol
I'm a sucker for the old ballparks, though.
Those Indians teams could RAKE!
1995-1999 particularly!!!
Check that. 1995-2001!!
Two ding-dongs in the same inning from each side of the plate.
