I’m so glad you talk about eating P.R.food. I was alone this Thanksgiving and Christmas.You do remember all the last Holidays, I was always the cook. I miss my family but it’s not safe to travel. I’m Praying that we will all be able to cook and eat together again!!!💃💃💃💃🎼🎼🎼🥰to the world!!!

This is going to sound a little crazy but I have to ask. I was working at a place for one day about 30 years ago. I walked to the corner looking for a place to get lunch and found a little Puerto Rican restaurant and had the most delicious sandwich. It was cubes of pork with the most amazing garlic taste. This was in Brooklyn in a very industrial area by the BQE. The Pork was soft like butter and made one of the best sandwiches ever. Do you know of anything that sounds like what I am describing? The Garlic flavor was so deeply infused and I have never been able to duplicate that level of infusion.

2021 is the year I'm inspired to complete all of my medical tests and receive a Kidney transplant. Covid put the Kabbash on it last year and I had to re-do all the tests. But I'm hopeful for this year to be the year. Amen

Open a restaurant in Manhattan. That would be great! I know we Puerto Rican eat a lot of meat. Have you thought about vegan friendly meal. For example empanadas with faux meat, etc. Especially Pastellas for vegans and/or vegetarians.

LOL LOL I married into a PR family and they don't eat black beans with rice , just the red beans. I go to Cuban Eddie restaurant in NJ to get the beans and it is expensive for a thirty two ounce container. Best regards.
