I have to admit. I am Cain. By i am Cain, i mean i used to be in anger of jealousy. I did not kill people. But I take revenge on people. I always felt i dont feel God will love me. No, this story isnt about offering our best. Its about obeying God. Abel obeyed God and brought a BLOOD sacrifice. Cain brought no blood. Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin. See Hebrews 9:22. This story was a forshadowing of Christ on the cross .

I believe that Cain is blind, therefore, it is impossible that he can kill a man, like a hunter Esau to Lot. It is unlikely that the murder is factual.
Why didn’t cane make like a wool shirt as an offering. Since it was Adam’s duty to tend the animals and the land. Part of that would shearing sheep’s when their wool gets long and before it gets tangled and unmanageable. Smh easy solutions gg m8
