* Anger is a normal, natural emotion. Even Jesus and God feel anger and wrath, it just depends on how we act on it * When you forgive someone, it doesn't mean the other person is right * Forgiving will free you * It's not worth sacrificing our relationship with Jesus/our eternity for anger, bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness. Forgiveness doesn't mean you're not angry. Forgiveness is pardoning them and accepting what they did and letting go of it and handing it over to God. Anger take times to work through. What makes Forgiveness easier is knowing that when you forgive a person, you actually release those people from the prison you think you're keeping them in (which achieves nothing except poisoning yourself) and you hand them over to God. God then takes care of them. If you know what I mean.. vengeance is God's. He will repay. It is written. Woe unto those that harm even a hair on the head of His little ones. Those people basically screw themselves over by hurting you. Once you forgive God steps in and takes care of them. You don't forget but you can make a solid choice to forgive at any time.

There was a woman sitting on the sidewalk outside of a doctors office crying. People just kept walking by her as she cried. I too walked by her. I thought about saying something to her then as if I didn't have a choice I swung around and said "Hey are you okay, do you need some help?". She stood up, smiled and said she was okay and walked away. One simple thing changed her day and that was somebody caring. I still think about her quite a bit. I do try Heather. I try. God bless you.

Jake, my sister didn’t talk to me for over 12 years and refused to talk to me I made numerous attempts to make amends for the sake of my father, who wanted his family to be together again. Each time I’d let my sister yell at me and curse at me for my fathers sake, but it was not to be. Finally my father passed away and now she talks to me. I wish she could have got over it while my father was alive but it took his death for her to forgive. Funny how it works, I gave her son in law a job and he stole from me and when I found out he was stealing from my jobs he quit, and it was my fault........not. However, I took the high road and tried to be the bigger person for my dads sake but to no avail. Make amends while you can, do what you need to do before it’s too late

How I pray to forgive but as each day passes I realize I haven't. I continue to pray and wait for God's answer! I forgive my dad for not being active in my life. I forgive my mother for treating me differently, from her other children. I forgive my older sister for belittling me, for degrading me and laughing at my pain when I had my divorce. I forgive my older siblings for never standing up to my sister so she would stop her mental abuse to me and my 4 year old son at the time. Forgiving others is important, we are all imperfect. The thing is forgiving does not take the pain away, it just means you don't want the person who has done you wrong to suffer, but you need to be aware that you yourself will still suffer. Forgiving is something you do for someone who doesn't deserve it, because you recognize they're only human, it's not something you do for yourself.

I struggle with lack of forgiveness. I’ve been hurt by my father my mother my grandmother my whole family. I am the black sheep of the family. My heart hurts for all I’ve gotten is hate from those who were suppose to love me. 😿

It's so hard to rid of the anger....anger creeps into my mind telling me I really haven't forgiven. It's the hardest when you've been really wronged...til you think of Jesus and his final hours!

I forgive my dad for not being active in my life. I forgive my mother for treating me differently, from her other children. I forgive my older sister for belittling me, for degrading me and laughing at my pain when I had my divorce. I forgive my older siblings for never standing up to my sister so she would stop her mental abuse to me and my 4 year old son at the time.
I pray God forgives me for not knowing better and help to heal me from all the trauma in the past. I pray for your guidance Lord. 🙏

The timing of this message is right on time for me as I'm struggling with uncertainty as to how deal with some people in my life and thier actions. Forgiving others is important, we are all imperfect. The thing is forgiving does not take the pain away, it just means you don't want the person who has done you wrong to suffer, but you need to be aware that you yourself will still suffer. Forgiving is something you do for someone who doesn't deserve it, because you recognize they're only human, it's not something you do for yourself.
