There is something unusual and compelling about this beautiful wildlife documentary.... Starting with the title... "I'm the best..." embracing the point of view of the subject, rather than us humans.
Did anyone ever see RANNA THE RED DEER . It’s was a mid to late 90’s doc about a red deer called rannah or ranna. In Scotland I think. If anyone knows what I’m talking about then give me a sign
Pretty good documentary, and it would have been much better if the producer had selected a narrator to replace Jim Trainor who had the limited ability to speak English with such a heavy accent. Perhaps the producer might consider one who's first language was English. Even the machine which translated Mr. Trainor's narration via CC, did not have the ability for accuracy of interpretation most of the time.
Antlers as a general rule are kind of made to "lock" together when they fight. The tines and branches prevent the hors form sliding and slipping when they fight which stops most eye injuries. Key word there is most. I'm sure there are unlucky stags who lose an eye in the rut on occasion. One thing that's kind of interesting is bucks with atypical or "abnormal" antlers can sometimes be quite dangerous to other bucks. With their strange tine placement they can be impossible to lock up with and so cause or receive injuries far more often.
I mean exactly how much deer footage were you expecting? I love deer as much as the next person but it's hard to fill a full documentary with only one species of deer. Would you rather have had a bunch of footage of red deer just grazing? Cause that's what they do for most of the day.
Luckily I'm not subbed, because voicing over a deer is just childish and all I've got to do is go back a screen and hit the Don't recommend chanel button 😁
Gorgeous deer. Amazing animal

How are there not many monocular red deer?

Only The Strong Survive
The title says Iberian Red Deer. Why so many filler clips? Eagles, beetles, vultures, etc? 🙄
Unsubbing.

Anthropomorphism is $hite. It makes this film twee, and childish.
