rajan nakarmi on certain vehicles it does, in my case it doesn't. The car detects to see if my key is inside the car, hence why I couldn't lock myself out. So because it doesn't detect a key, it won't remote start.

I just bought some of the commands for a 2013 Altima and it works great! Is there a function that will let me remote start? The actual key for the car does have remote ignition if that makes a difference.

I have the same car with the same obd adapter and both of these apps, all worked great except for the unlock feature and trunk opening feature, if I unlocked the car using the Remote EX app my alarm will go on, how did you manage to overcome this issue?. I am a little put off by the fact that it says that remote start is enabled "on select models only." There doesn't seem to be a way to find out of my car supports remote start.
I am also a little unsure if the "Saturn" brand is considered to be a "GM" model or not.
Anybody have any advice on where to do research?

Hey Armando! In theory the Torque App could support Android Auto and it should be possible to show all of this directly on an Android Auto head unit (like e.g. the Pioneer AVIC-4100NEX). Have not found any hints that the app will support Android Auto in the near future. Any ideas from your side regarding this?
Armando this is great where can I get that will it work with a 2008 Dodge Avenger what's the name of the app with the controls?

I had to get the Sport package :) Wish the wheels were a bit wider but they are nice for being stock.

Hi Armando. I have not bought this adapter but I think. But as a matter of fact I would like to buy this adapter especially for it's remote function as locking/unlocking doors turning on/off headlights and fog lights by the way is possible turning on/off engine remotely? My questions are 1. you opened a new app calls Torque does it work with obd link lx bluetooth adapter? 2. I downloaded Torque app but there is no button remote ex for nissan or other car producer even there is no any interface like you show. may it cause from connection so I mean do I have to get adapter and connect my car with my phone for getting this functions in myapp? and you have wrote in your reply that there are many apps for remoting other car producer but I did not find app for mazda can you share it? mine is mazda 3 2014 thanks in advanced I wait you respond :)

i could see this being a lot more useful if it allowed you to lock and unlock automatically as you approached or departed the vehicle, or let you set macro's for certain scenarios. biggest problem i had with the bluetooth OBD dongle was it would kill my battery after several days
Very interesting to further my hunch of my stalkers running my car to even steering. 2 cars in this high school parking lot mine and parked one 200 feet away. There's no fucking I'm on the Truman show an not getting paid because I drove car at slow speed and sure enough when I got to about 20 feet from other car in this giant lot hands off the steering creeps a little literally tyr itself into directly into the passenger front tire dead on.fuck that

One problem with Bluetooth dongle is that i cannot pair the car stereo using the same phone. Wifi dongle will be the best alternative.

I have a Lincoln Continental with a Ford 4.6, a Buick Lacrosse with GM 3800 L26, and Pontiac Grand am with GM L32 and Bluetooth works on all three cars comfirmed.

im sure you could. you would just have to find the app that lets you do that. hes demonstrating car features through your phone. so you would have to find an app that gives you diagnostics for your car.

Hi Aemando, I am facing a problem, my OBD ELM327 is not connecting to the ECU/ECM of Maxima 2014 & Altima 2006. However, it is working on Corolla, Isuzu DMAX, Chevorlet Lumina etc. I've tried my self on these cars, with torque pro android app. Please let me know how is it working with your's. Have you done some modification to your's?
