- James and Tom activate the BondBoard and analyse Dalton's second Bond movie. We've got sharks, we've got an exploding head, we've got dancer who keeps on dancing in even the most violent of situations. Let's go.
Another cracking episode lads. I'm sad that Mr Dalton didn't do more than two as I liked his darker/colder Bond and was pleased a lot of the cheese had been removed and replaced with hard-hitting action. I'm sure you're already fans, but if you haven't seen Dalton's performance in Hot Fuzz, it's a must! Looking forward to the Goldeneye review as I went to a special screening at the Odeon in Bristol put on my by my Hall of Residence at Bristol University - we got trashed on vodka martinis then got taken there in buses with 007 as the number on the front. All dressed up in Dinner Jackets, it was a good time to be a student!
Hello also! Many thanks for the mention. Another great episode.
I was especially looking forward to this review because it's such an awesome and unusual Bond movie, and because it gave you the opportunity to bring back NINJAS!
This movie almost prevented my birth. My parents went to the cinema on a date and hated it so much they left early. Luckily they stayed together. Just discovered you folks a few days ago and I'm already completely caught up. Lovely stuff. As an American it's so rare to come across a Bond fan that's also a Partridge fan, so to you two, I say 'AHA'
Hi there. Glad to hear that our transmissions have made their way over to the USA and are being enjoyed. I’m pleased to hear your birth was not prevented. Just started your podcast and, from a quick scroll over your episode titles, I’m liking what I see and look forward to catching up. Cheers, Tom.
@ my co-host is a huge Bond fan. He’ll love your channel I’m sure
Think this episode was good but have stopped about 18 minutes in to watch Seinfeld.
LTK is in my top 2 and love it. Great precursor to the Craig era but also did it miles better.
Keep up the sterling work gents.
