Look...... this is not about sounding "EXACTLY like Whitney " This girl can sing. there are tones and texture to her voice that resemble Whitney's and she also has some of the Belt and power of Whitney but there will never a be another Whitney. Just like there will never be someone who sounds exactly like Glennis Grace LET'S just celebrate that ;)

She was arrested for violence towards a minor employee of a supermarket. Supposedly because the son of Glennis Grace was asked to stop vaping in the store. In the Netherlands it is common for "stars" to behave "normal" otherwise the vast majority of people will hate you. So you don't vape in stores and when you do, you stop when asked. You don't fight over it. We have a proverb that goes "doe maar gewoon dat is gek genoeg" or "act normal that is crazy enough" and she clearly broke that.
We do make a clear destinction between her talent and her personality. Amazing singer, with a terrific voice yes. But also not very courteous or chivalrous towards people she rates lower then herself, at least in the case of the supermarket incident.

She's not an imitation. She has recorded some covers of many. Until they write songs for her of her own that's how it will be. Not every singer is a song writer too. This young lady is outstanding. No one should be putting her down because she loved Whitney Houston. No one said anything about Whitney covering a Dolly Parton song. People now think of that song in connection to Huston but she wasn't the first to record it.

Glennis Grace has always sung Whitney's songs since she was a little girl. She lived these songs, she breathes these songs. That's the reason why she can almost do this perfectly. She doesn't want to duplicate her. She is the biggest Whitney fan herself! And she can sing her own song too! So, please don't say bad things about her. She is a lovely and a feisty woman that can stand her man! I really hope for her she makes it to world fame. She deserves it, and the world deserves to get to know her and het wonderful voice!

Whitney Houston had one of the greatest voices in modern music. I've heard many decent singers attempt to cover this song - very few have got anywhere near the vocal range, required to hit notes that Whitney did. Then along came Glennis Grace. She's the first singer I've heard since WH, to bring the greatness back to this song and truly do it justice it deserves. If you close your eyes, there are points in the above video,, where you could almost be listening to Whitney, herself. That's quite an incredible feat. Well done, GG.

It's because Glennis really loved Whitney and is still her biggest fan. She was inspired by Whitney and started singing and won her first TV talent at 15 yo with "One Moment In Time" back in 1994. That's why.

You can tell that she has studied multiple live performances of Whitney singing this song. I hear a lot of Whitney's inflections and ad-libs in this performance. Overall, she did pretty well. This is a very hard ballad to sing, especially in Whitney's original key! Good job, Glennis! ❤

It's not that she has studied them. Glennis listened to Whitney since she was very young and she has memorized Whitney's singing style by heart. Having said that, Glennis is able to sing this in multiple ways but she choses to keep Whitney's style as much as possible as a tribute to her so people get to remember Whitney when she sings and that's actually what happens. It's so great.

She has a great voice!!! Not sure about building a career on singing all of Whitney’s songs though. She’ll soon become a bad copy of someone else rather than her own artist. It’s uncomfortable watching her because she does sound a lot like minus some of the power, and control. But she looks nothing like Whitney in my opinion. Which is why it feels awkward watching her. Hopefully she will find an appropriate lane for her talents, not just being a Whitney vocal clone.
