Great video. I run down to Turweston Airfield twice a week, and have done for years. Quite upsetting to see so much of our beautiful countryside devastated by this. So many footpaths we can’t access 😢 that said, incredible to see the progress made and I’ve just watched your drone video. Amazing to see from above.
Interesting to see what they are doing, a massive undertaking by the looks of it. When I accessed the remains of the viaduct I'm sure I came off that path.
What an awesome video! I've been shooting Turweston HS2 progress with the drone. As you get around Oatleys Road where you spoke to that guy about washing your bike 😂 there's a guy called Mick manning the crossing. He's a top bloke and very knowledgeable about HS2 there. I love the cut throughs and paths you found there. I'll be exploring those tomorrow! If you're interested... I got right down to where they are piling the A43 Viaduct last week. Travel over the HS2 crossing, up to the solar farm, turn left, right to the end and through the gate at the old race track there's a PRoW on your left. Follow that through the 300 gates and left across two fields. You'll get right to the Heras fencing where they're building the viaduct.
