Transport a dirt bike or scooter via receiver hitch with the MX-600X hitch carrier. The new MX-600X has a high-strength steel frame with steel components that are easily bolted together (assembly required). Simply slide the MX-600X carrier into your Class III or IV receiver and secure it to the hitch tube using the included pinch bolt and reverse anti-tilt device. Tighten up the left-over slack with the pinch bolt that presses the carrier tube against the receiver tube on your vehicle. The reverse anti-tilt device keeps the loaded carrier from tilting back and forth and putting stress on the hitch tube.
Loading your scooter or dirt bike onto the MX-600X hitch carrier is a snap with the included 5 foot long ramp. Rest the ramp at the end of the carrier to load your ride, and when traveling, keep the ramp bolted onto the carrier frame for better access to it later. The adjustable wheel space on the hitch carrier frame can accommodate many sizes tires. The 5.5" wide track is not adjustable width-wise, but pull a couple metal rods, and the MX-600X can adjust for larger or smaller diameter wheels. Once loaded with the front wheel seated correctly, the final step of tying down your dirt bike or scooter can be done. A single tie-down loop on either side of the MX-600X track aid in securing your machine for travel and transport. Need a Class III or IV hitch for the MX-600X? Check out the Hitch Selector to find a trailer hitch for your vehicle!
Tie down straps are sold separately. We have a quality tie down straps for motorcycle carriers below. We recommend using one basic strap kit per bike and a wheel tie kit to secure your motorcycles.
NOT recommended for any tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel trailers and camping trailers due to excessive bouncing of the vehicle's suspension

Instructions show using BOTH the pinch bolt AND the reverse anti-tilt bracket. I did receive a traditional pin in the package, but the instructions make no mention of it. If some's good a lot's better. Do both the pinch bolt and the reverse anti-tilt bracket? Or just do the reverse anti-tilt bracket and the traditional pin, which is shown in the video as being the preferred method. Seems like it would be a lot easier to get off also.

You guys should make videos for IKEA products. Haha. One of the best how-to videos I've ever seen.

Can't see the license plate. Shouldn't there be a lighted license plate mount included with the ramp?
