I wish minimum wage was $15 in Texas. It's $9 here. It's ridiculous. People bust their butts for Pennys in Texas. I'm a residential director and I don't even make $15.
@tammyrobichaud it truly is very low. We had a big inflation but wages stayed the same. It's hard to get proper groceries or make the house payments along with every other bill
Minimum wage in the UK is £11.44 . Wow you only get £8.55 an hour according to currency converter Tammy that is extremley low . I thought £11.44 was low . It does depend on the cost of living in the country that your living in though and how much the local government thinks is enough to live off which is never enough is it

I live in WA state and our minimum wage is $16.28 right now and going up the first of the year. We don't have a state income tax either.
Does that mean you don't pay income tax? Or is it something else?
