I’m really the only one working on it and I’ll be honest, part 2 hasn’t been touched since the beginning of April. I’ve been really busy with school work and now finals but summer break is super close so I should be able to work on it around this month sometime.
Gonna be characters from other types of games popping up here and there. Except the one you’ll see in Episode 2 which will probably make more sense since she’s also from a zombie related video game.

You’re not a bother at all dude. Some of the models I used in this video I had to manually import myself. Some, such as regular commons or special infected or even the regular survivors are available with free dlc or workshop addons. If you get the free l4d2 dlc pack it also includes all the animations from the game. And I’m glad to have served as an inspiration, and honestly with enough dedication you can make something amazing with sfm.
How were you able to port mod models to sfm? I'm just asking because I'm tired of using just enhanced models from the workshop and the base models you get in the sfm l4d2 content pack
It took me forever to figure this out but thankfully, thanks to LoneWolfHBS (the creator of the white lie series) had a bit of a tutorial on a steam forum here - steamcommunity.com/groups/lonewolfsayn/discussions/3/610573009254692242/ scroll down under the tank mod and it has a short tutorial. The Hex editor I used was a program called “Cyngus”? I think? Keep note you can not add just any letter in the hex editor when adding another model, you have to replace a letter in the characters name with a letter that is already present in the characters name. So like instead of “gambler” for nick, you could put “gambleb” since a b is already present in his name (I think, it’s been a while since i’ve done it so maybe any letter works.) If you need any help at all, ask so and i’ll try my best to help. I should also note i’m not at my pc at the moment so if it requires me to do something on there then you might have to wait a while till I can help.

Mostly due to mental health or burnout. They had pretty good reasons, but it is sad we may never see an ending to their series.
