I heard that they won't make the older version anymore as it's a limited edition and they'll continue with the new elite version. If if you want to buy the old version, this could be the best chance now. To know more information, watch this video. It'll explain everything so far

This is really awesome and it is really cool. It is this. It is a shame that the big Optimus prime is still £1000. I do wish that you can lower the price on the bake off for most prime because I want to get one and I do wish that the trailer was accessible for people. With no reason. Few questions I have to know the difference between this version and the original:
1. Can he open his chest to reveal the Matrix? I thought it'd so cool.
2. Will it's joints be tightened when off so you could use it as a display piece?
3. Does it include even more new Peter Cullen voice clips?
4. What other changes and new features that this version has? The only difference I noticed are side mirrors and the app.
5. How much does this version cost?
6. Will the new voice commands be included on the original as well?
Edit: the other differences I noticed from robosen website is that it's little smaller than the original, has side door windows as an additional detail and the cost is $700.

0:42 the abs have so much gaps on the middle. Which is kinda bothering me.
If you get any info please share it with us. I'm assuming the trailer wont fit with this new version or atleast not look proportionate. Also look at the waist area, those gaps look bigger. I'm hoping this version atleast moves faster to make it look more realistic.
@@julio-pierrefuertes2226 true. I also have the same issue with the gaps on the abs. The tanks on his legs are bothering me as well as they're standing high over his knees. I hope we can do something about it like the original.

So I spoke to a Robosen agent supposedly it has the same features besides size/weight difference and charging time, it's just more affordable.. elite 700 vs 1000 flagship original. But the Hasbro website has the original for 750!

So does this remove the red panel that’s normally on the back of Prime’s head? I’ve noticed Robson’s adverts for the old model would somehow remove it but it’s always there in all the video reviews I’ve seen. Has that been changed for this model?

So disappointed in Robosen's lack of interest in supporting their past builds. They have all but forgotten about the original OP. Limited edition at first, then they made more to sell, scarce firmware updates (one so far that made it more jerky than at launch), little response from support, cannot add voice commands to programmable actions. They got the money and moved to Buzz Lightyear, and now a totally new edition to milk the market.
I understand you are a business but you have nothing without a loyal base. I am canceling the OP trailer and I will be selling my OP. You can't even order replacement feet which you will need because the bottoms of his feet will scuff and scratch, as will his knuckles/hands from the transform. This had soooo much potential but greed seemed to blind their vision and left us all with a 1k dollar item that only reached 40 percent of it's potential.
There's nothing greed about this lol not to mention, the figure is actually cheaper if you brought it on Hasbro website.

I just meant they are more focused on the next big release rather than fully supporting and maintaining their existing product line. They have so much potential to be such an amazing company but they can't forget about the ones who spend the money on "last year" models. I love the optimus prime and the concept is unbelievable. They left so much to be desired on a 2k dollar robot.
@@dix_pack_of_sixie true. But the thing is, they already said that the original edition is limited edition. So maybe the elite version is unlimited. Despite all this, I really want them to make their Megatron so badly.

Maybe I'm being a spoiled brat lol.i mean, it does self transform 😄 I remember 37 steps to get one of the transformers converted to one mode or the other. I definitely appreciate talking it our. I just needed to vent I guess lol. 🤷
