Your video gets a lot of compliments, well earned of course, for example I love how dynamic your positioning is, and am astonished by your line work, especially on the first run through. That being said I also like to give some useful critiques on occasion. This is constructive criticism, and I hope you take it in the spirit it’s intended. One such critique which I thought I should mention to you is that all of the goddesses have very similar skin tone and face shape, which all very Asian. This is normally fine, in fact I genuinely appreciate your beautiful style, except if you are doing an Egyptian goddess based on an idea from Egyptian mythology (maat) it should at least somewhat resemble someone from that region. Just something to think about next time you do a project like this. Additionally all the faces look not only similar but the same. If you ever wanted to make an extended universe or story with your characters giving some variation might be useful to practice. As it is, it looks like the same goddess in different costumes. The dress and elements if the hair may change but the face is exact enough that it’s reasonable to assume that they are the same person unless otherwise stated. The picture with two characters gets away with it because there very mother-daughter vibe but I don’t know if that would hold true in a group drawing. And that’s all, I hope your doing well, and all told amazing work. Cheers.
I very much agree. The artist have great skills and technique and everything. The only thing that's lacking is variety in facial appearances and skin tones. It's not much of a problem if the artist just simply prefers it that way or want them to look the same on purpose, but even so, I just wish they'd give an exception to characters with great cultural significance, at the very least.
