When I lived in Vegas I went there for the first time driving cross-country in my early twenties and it was all dark till we came over the mountain driving and boom all the lights just lit up. It was amazing.

@@Rubster760 hey my friend I came over to reply and it said I was unsub and I know I didn't do that? That's odd and I know I was just here the other day visiting. Weird things happening I'm sorry but I'm always here no matter what I really rely on comments to visit people especially anyway it's been awhile since I've been to Vegas yes last time I was there in my mid-30s. I love the weather the dry heat. Even though I'm a winter baby I tend to enjoy the cold the season was mild. I used to love going up to Mount Charleston and renting one of their little cabins and just chilling. I lived on Paradise and Flamingo across from the Continental in an apartment complex. I don't know if it's still there or not I forget the name of it
It was rare to wake up to an overcast day in Nevada, that's for sure. My first job started at the Mirage as Keno Runner grave shift and Whenever there was a high roller or star in the house don't know why but they chose me to run tickets for them? I ran Keno tickets for Robin Williams back and forth it was really nice I can still see his hairy Knuckles as he was playing Blackjack very nice man he was very polite he tipped well. The fact that he's gone and I got to see him in his wrong human form was really a gift in that way when I look back. I also ran tickets for Tony Danza and a few other celebs so-called Stars. Tony Danza was eating in the Paradise Cafe at the Mirage where I was running Keno tickets during that shift midnight to 8 and I was standing up at the keno desk waiting for the balls to be drawn and Tony Danza was eating with a girl and I remember he would not stop staring at me. I just stared back and I remember it wasn't in a nice way cuz I didn't like that he was staring and I didn't know why.? I thought he was sizing me up or something I don't know I was young and insecure Plus back then I was also Platinum blond I looked different the platinum color was very head-turning at the time and the girl he was with happened to be blond so maybe you like blondes? IDK and I didn't care LOL. He seems a little Arrogant with his disposition. Anyway he kept staring at me ? And I remember thinking why is this dude staring at me when he's with another woman how rude? And even when they left he turned his head and look back at me as they passed the keno desk while I was standing there with my tray and I'm remember shooting him a look like, you are so rude put your eyes back in your head dude lol. I guess he thought I should have gone down to him cuz he was Tony Danza and been all giggly like a schoolgirl but that wasn't me. I didn't get Starstruck very much very easily I always looked at people like the president and the Hollywood stars as regular people because they are when it all comes down. It's the media and the hype and advertisements that make them seem so Godly to some sadly. The only person I ever got Starstruck over was a singer named Bjork because she was my childhood Idol and as a teen sometimes that happens because they seem so untouchable and we are filled with hormones LOL. So yes working at the Mirage was a really nice time in my life. After working almost a year midnight to 8 many chances came up for promotion as a Keno writer on swing shift but I got used to it and I really didn't want to be a que no writer but I did do it for a little while and then I finally got an interview for the Health Spas Spa lead receptionist that's where I wanted to be. But everybody has to work their way up. I didn't like the casino part I was more about the hotel part and health spa was right up my alley. Also the health spa is where Steve Wynn comps many big players and stars which was exciting for a minute and I just like being in the relaxing part of the hotel. Something kind of cool when I was out there they were filming the movie Casino and I got to meet Sharon Stone Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro who all came into the spa and I got to write facility tickets for each of them. I remember seeing Sharon Stone as a young girl barely 21 and that was also another quick minute of being Starstruck which was unlike my character but my friends around me we're all hyped up. It was confusing to me. I remember thinking I want to look just like her and I watched two of her movies Basic Instinct and sliver and I loved her hair in sliver so I cut mine into a bob cut darken my eyebrows with Colour wearing black Slinky dresses like she wore and began to Las Vegas myself up lol😆 it was fun. I look back and glad I took that Journey. The first time I was innocent to everything and never traveled outside my own state on my own as a mere Young adult entering 21 with someone else leading the way showing me around showing me the ropes per se. The second time in my early 30s I was showing someone else around. Two totally different experiences. I'd like to go back out one more time before I get much older. I'm only 47 but I'm feeling it in my bones and body I'm not in any denial. But I try to keep a young positive mindset my friend.
